Today I would like to share a book review on, “The Lord's Prayer: Misinterpretations and Truth - Sermons on the Lord's Prayer,” by Rev. Paul C. Jong

The Lord prayer in truth is given to born again Children of God only.

Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Mat 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. To address Almighty God as a father, one needs to be His Children. So who can address God as Almighty Father. Only The Born-Again of Water & Spirit can address God as Almighty Father because they are the truly born again children where the sins are not found in the heart, the sins that blocks God and us. So only the born again of water & spirit remitted from their sins by believing in the perfect work of His One & Only Begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ, The Gospel of water & Spirit can address God as Almighty Father. So to address and call Almighty God as a Father after being born again of water & spirit is such a joyful moment.

How can we hallow the name of Almighty God our father in Heaven? Is it by doing good deeds or it is by preventing from committing sins or by fasting, etc.. I say none. We cannot glorify God by the work of our flesh. Had God been glorified and pleased by the work of the Flesh of mankind, He wouldn’t have sent His One & Only Begotten Son to this work to accomplish His Perfect Work of Holiness. As the scriptures says.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

We can see that The Holiness belongs to the Lord and not made of human work.

Exo 28:36 And thou shalt make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.

Holiness belongs to the Lord. It is not by our work of being holy by not trying to commit sins or doing righteous work by flesh can human glorify God. Had people been able to do righteous work and glorify God there was no need for God to intervene by sending His One & Only Begotten Son to accomplish perfect Holiness to the God.

Yes the righteous born again of water & spirit do commit sins. To tell the flesh not to sins is equivalent to saying try stop breathing. We can stop sinning only once this flesh dies same as we die when we stop breathing. But behold the power or God Almighty in The Gospel of Water & Spirit, how to the depraved human beings Almighty God bestowed His Grace & Mercy in the Gospel of Water & Spirit. So when we commit sins because of our lack-ness and infirmities it is most mandatory to once again meditate on The Gospel of Water & Spirit, in Lord’s Baptism, His Crucifixion and His Resurrection. The hope and faith in Resurrection is must because one we believe in The Baptism where our sins of the entire lifetime has been transferred and in The Crucifixion where all our condemnation Lord bore for us, we are indeed free of sins. So those who are free of sins are set free from the power of death, thus we resurrect in Spirit. Hallelujah and Amen.

The Righteous born again of Water & Spirit can glorify and hallow the name of Almighty God by only believing in the Perfect work of Christ, The Gospel of Water & Spirit. It is by believing in the work of God accomplished through His One & Only Begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Water & Spirit we the born again can glorify Almighty God. We the righteous born again of water & spirit is able to hallow the name of God the Father and The Holy Trinity because of the Righteousness of God that Lord bestowed on us in The Gospel of Water & Spirit. Hallelujah & Amen.

Mat 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. To establish the Kingdom of God, the only thing left for the redeemed righteous in The Gospel of Water & Spirit is to preach this wonderful and powerful Gospel of Water & Spirit. Thus when people who are in sins accepts and receive remission of sins, Kingdom of God is established on the earth. What’s the will of God? Is it to stop sinning by our flesh? I say big no. As I shared with you to tell the flesh not to sins is equivalent to saying try stop breathing. We can stop sinning only once this flesh dies same as we die when we stop breathing. So the will of God is that every one should receive remission of sins by believing in The Gospel of Water & Spirit.

Joh 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

So the will of God is that everyone receive remission of sins and enter heaven as His Children. But sad thing is that most are lost and deceived that they hardly care what Almighty Father gave up once to gift His Righteousness to mankind.

As it is heaven; since in heaven there are only the Righteous dwelling under the Almighty God’s reign so even in earth those who are born again of water & spirit and those who are preaching His Righteousness absolutely apart from human defined good deeds are building God’s Kingdom as it is in Heaven. One absolute reign over us, The Holy Trinity. Hallelujah & Amen.

Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.
What is the daily bread? Is it what we eat three times a day? No, the daily bread here refers to the spiritual bread that Lord is giving us and has given us. The Gospel of Water & Spirit. The bread that we get eternal life after eating it is as follows in the following scriptures:

Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
Joh 6:56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
Joh 6:57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.
Joh 6:58 This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever.

So the bread that we should eat when we are spiritually hungry and starved is The Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ. The Flesh signifying The Baptism and The Blood signifying The Crucifixion. Only once we eat this spiritual bread which our Lord Jesus Christ worked for and accomplished to give us this daily bread we can live eternally in The Kingdom of God.

And the above, The Gospel of Water & Spirit becomes our everyday bread for spirit.

And we also see that in one passage Lord talks about praying for the bread

Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

and in another passage that he says the following:

Mat 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

So we can see that Lord is not talking about the bread of flesh but of spirit.

Joh 4:31 In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
Joh 4:32 But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
Joh 4:33 Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
Joh 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.

In order to gift us the spiritual bread of His Flesh & Blood Lord Jesus Christ fasted, hungered and thirsted. To do the will of the Almighty God The Father was the bread for Our Redeemer. The will of Almighty God to bestow the Spiritual bread of life, The Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ, The Gospel of Water & Spirit our God The Redeemer worked perfectly.

We are the most blessed people, the one born again of water & spirit in the Righteousness of God. So we need to share this daily spiritual bread, The Gospel of Water & Spirit so that the poor in spirit who do not have food to eat can be filled by the Gospel of Water & Spirit, The Flesh & Blood of Lord Jesus Christ, that gives eternal life to soul. Hallelujah & Amen.

Mat 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
When we meditate on the above scriptures it may seems that God is demanding something from us so that we get His Blessing of mercy. In real who can truly forgive the debtors? There is no person on earth who will forgive his debtors with pure heart if we see the earth in terms of the work of human.
But even the most impossible task for human God made it easy for us. The above passage is not demanding our work but it tells us to meditate on the work of God. Almighty God forgave our worst and gravest of sins, all the sins of life time in The Gospel of Water & Spirit of His One & Only Begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ. So we the born again of water & spirit who once owed so much of spiritual debts that we couldn’t pay it off all eternity are the only one who can forgive the debts of debtors as we know that our debts of lifetime have been forgiven by of Almighty God by His Righteousness in The Gospel of Water & Spirit of His One & Only Begotten Son. Hallelujah.

Let us mediate of the following scriptures how our Lord Jesus Christ explained the above scripture Mat 6:12 in detail in simple human terms so that we can understand that it is not what Almighty God is demanding from us but it is what Almighty God has already done to us and we need to do the same to others as did Almighty God bestowed on us.

Mat 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
Mat 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Mat 18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.
Mat 18:24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.
Mat 18:25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.
Mat 18:26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
Mat 18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
Mat 18:28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. Mat 18:29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
Mat 18:30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.
Mat 18:31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
Mat 18:32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
Mat 18:33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee? Mat 18:34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
Mat 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

So we see that the scriptures Mat 6:12 is only for Righteous born again of water & spirit of whose the debts of life time have been forgiven by Almighty God in The Gospel of Water & Spirit. If we do not do the same then we will face the judgment of the servant who didn’t forgive his servant debts although his master to whom he owed titanic amount forgave him. So here we behold the situation of God. Almighty God forgave us our debts of life time so likewise we need to forgive the debts of others as a born again Children of God.

To Almighty God The Holy Trinity be the glory forevermore for forgiving and forgetting us our debts of life time and adopting as His Children of Righteousness. Hallelujah & Amen.

Mat 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
When does the man fall into temptation? Man falls into temptations when he drifts away from the Righteousness of God. This world is filled with the temptations of flesh, so if one drifts away from the Righteousness of God which means walk more for flesh then he is bound to fall into temptations. Actually what are the temptations of flesh? The best of the flesh is the filthy rags infront of God. So to fall for filthy torn rags which cannot protects us from heat and cold and harsh weather and rejects warm garments of salvation of God’s Righteousness is most foolish thing one can ever do. It is not that we won’t fall into temptations just as I said to tell the flesh not to sins is equivalent to saying try stop breathing. We can stop sinning only once this flesh dies same as we die when we stop breathing. Yes we do fall into temptations and just to object to it that we never fall into temptations is equally saying that we don’t sin which is a lie equivalent to telling although I have stopped breathing I am still living.

So we need to know that people or we fall into temptations because we have drifted away from God. So as long as we stick to The Righteousness of God, Lord will always deliver us from the evil. As long as we walk in The Grace & Mercy and The Righteousness of God we will never fall into temptations and since God’s Righteousness is with us evil never befalls on us because God’s Righteousness protects us.

But behold, the grace and mercy of Almighty God is boundless that although many times we fall into temptations because of our lackness and infirmities of flesh Almighty God is always there for us whenever we wants to return to him. But for the righteous temptations of the world hardly penetrates to our hearts as deep within us dwells Almighty God, The Holy Spirit and Almighty God brings us back to Him by letting us once again feast on the Spiritual Bread, The Flesh and Blood of Lord Jesus Christ and The Gospel of Water & Spirit.

To the born again of The Gospel of Water & Spirit there is no such thing as back sliding because we know that we will be sliding back but still deep in our heart there is The Righteousness of God dwelling in which pulls us back onto track to The Kingdom of God. And once we are back we give praise and glory to Almighty God for The Gospel of Water & Spirit. Hallelujah & Amen.

As long as we stick to The Righteousness of God, The Gospel of Water & Spirit, we can always feel the life in the Kingdom of God, its power and glory forevermore.

I am so thankful to God for letting me write this wonderful book review. I am not praising here myself but glorifying God, how He helped me to write this review.

I would like to share my confession in this book review.

Lately because of my office work I have been very busy. Only thing I am able to do is read our Books, even that also few pages at a time. Most of the time I get tired of working late night that when I reach home I am completely exhausted and while on my bed I give thanks and glory to God for days’ work and protection. This things goes on every year when there are Gov. Tenders and Supplies. And yes as I get too much endorsed in the work I am always driven to temptations of flesh but deep inside The Holy Spirit always convicts me what I am doing is not right, so I confess and get back as soon as I fall because of my infirmities and weakness and lackness of flesh. I will not declare that I stopped sinning as it is equivalent to saying I stopped breathing and I am still living. I will be sinning until my death but all thanks and glory to Lord Jesus Christ that I am still righteous despite I sin because of my faith in the Perfect Work of Christ The Gospel of Water & Spirit. Hallelujah & Amen. I won’t declare that I will also do good deeds in flesh from now on because it is nonsense before God, it is equal to saying stop stinking to the rotten corpse. But all thanks and glory to God that my Spirit lives in The Righteousness of God, The Gospel of Water & Spirit. Hallelujah and Amen. I am committing DEAD SINS, as I have been baptized in Christ and crucified with Christ and resurrected with Christ. It is no longer who I live but the Spirit of Christ, The Holy Spirit lives in me.

And recently I am working on Human Drugs tender due on 22nd April. And frankly yesterday I was put to wits end as I lost one important file where contains the documents that I need to enclose with the above tender. Although my flesh was little tensed by thinking what if I don’t find the file, then I am screwed. But honestly I trusted in God that He will help me to find the same. So yesterday (9.04.2008) I went home and prayed to God in peace and thanked Him as usual for everything. Today morning I came to office and first started searching the same file. Soon after I gave and came back to my desk and started to work for God. I posted messages and reply to the messages in my blog to my bron again brothers and sisters. And I started writing this book review. I prayed, my job is to do God’s Will, I need to write this book review to strengthen our saints in The Gospel of Water & Spirit and post it to both the book review and message board and also add to my blog. So without concern and keeping everything in God’s Hand I started this work. I finished half the review and went out to meets our clients and I frankly talked to my boss that our important file is missing without any fear, because there is nothing to fear of world. She told me to search in her corner later. So we went together and discussed our issues with our clients and came back. It was lunch time, so she went to her house for lunch and I came back to office. So with full confident in my heart in God I went to her desk and began to search. And soon enough, there it was, yesterday all afternoon I searched the file racks, my desks and her desk and checked every file but I couldn’t find but today as soon as I left it God to find for me and I started doing His work, right here on my table God gave it to me. Now I will eat my lunch after I finish posting this book review on our website and emailing a copy to Pastor John Shin, our General Secretary. THANK YOU GOD. HALLELUJAH & AMEN.

I learnt that concern is not our concern but concern of concern to concern us and it is God to take out of our concern if only we trust and believe in Him and His Righteousness. Hallelujah & Amen.

I have learnt great lesson on the following verse.

Mat 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Mat 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Mat 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
Mat 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
Mat 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
Mat 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Mat 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
Mat 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Mat 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

As long as we seek and stick to God’s Righteousness, The Gospel of Water & Spirit, everything will be added to us.
