In my last two reviews the emphasis was on exlaining why our Lord had to fulfil the righteousness of God according to Mt.3:13-17, and the faith of the righteousness contained in Jn.3:5. In my reviews I made it clear that it was by the faith of Jn.3:5 that the righteousness of God is revealed from scriptures to scriptures; And that the faith of the gospel of the water and the Spirit was the key to becoming the people of God because of the spiritual circumcission of the heart.
Now we need to see that there is confusion with those whose hearts are not born again according to Jn.3:5. The book realy is making us to know that those who do not have faith in the Godhead to believe propely that Our Lord who came in the flesh of man became the righteousness of God by completing the works of taking the sins of the world in His flesh, took our judgment of death on the cross, and rose from the dead according to the plan and will of God the Father in Christ Jesus. The book enable us to see that after completion of the works of the salvation of mankind, Jesus has been enthroned as God our saviour for ever.
Why is it that this confusion has arisen? This is because of apostasy and heresis-the people who profess to beleve in God but with sin in their hearts. This is because the God of this world has blnded their eyes of understanding such that seeing they do not see, hearing, they do not hear (2Cor4:3-4).These people are no different to the Nicolaitans mentioned in the book of Revelation. They are like the Baalam worshipers or worshipers of their golden calves. These people suppress the truth in unrighteousness, and the wrath of God awaits them (Rom.1:18-25). The unfortunate thing is that they could be holding genuine seekers captive for quite along time. Clearly the wrath of God awaits the unbelivers. The book made clear to unbelievers that it is wrong to say one is a true christian with sin in one's heart. It can be seen in the word of God above that those who to serve God in righteousness, that God gives the up to practce their lawlesness.
However, the book also stresses that it is not too late if unblievers should repent from false faith of believing that they are saved by the blood of Jesus on the cross only. The book also stresses that no church, congregation, any individual is capable of saving another's life except having faith in the beautiful gospel of the water and the Spirit through believing Mt.3:13-17 and Jn.3:5, the gospel which shows how Jesus fulfilled the righteousness of God, because according to Rom.1:17, " the just shall live by faith". The above gospels are the gospels of the circumcission of the heart. The book makes us to understand that spiritual circumcission of the heart is no possble by faith in the blood of Jesus only. It is only possble by pacing our faith in the water and blood ( His baptism and his death) 1Jn.5:4-12. The book shows the indispensability of the baptism of Jesus according to 1Pet.3:21. Therefore, we see that believing the baptism of Jesus as the fulfiment of all the righteousness of God confirms our faith od being baptised into the family of God. This is why all true belivers who walk by the faith of the gospel of the water and of the Spirit have to receive a baptism to confirm their faith in the righteousness of Jesus- the righteousness of God to be united with Jesus Rom.3:6-8.
Therefore, we must frustrate or ignore the grace of God. We must know that God has given man life expectancy of 70 to 80 years. If this grace is ignored, there is no excuse that can be given to avoid the judgment of sin Rom.2:1-16.
However, we must not be like the legalists who try to keep the Law of righteousness not knowing that no man can be justified by the deeds of the law. They judge believers according to the Law of righteousness not know with same judgment they judge themselves. The faith of true christians should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God Rom.2:5.
We have been given the great commission by the Lord Mt.28:18-20. This commission is not to preach the gospel of our Lord jesus in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God which by faith in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. This gospel must be preached to our families and friends and peoples from afar. We must remember that as we preach the true gospel the Lord Himself will keep us to the end. This gospel can only work if we walk in the Spirit through faith in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. We must not allow the difficulties we meet in this walk to deter us from labouring for the Kingdom of God in the will of God. God bless you all and make all provisions available to us all as we labour in love. A-men.
