THERE IS NO SALVATION IN YOUR HUMAN WORKS BUT ONLY IN THE WORK OF BELIEVING THAT JESUS CAME BY THE WATER, BLOOD AND THE SPIRIT(JOHN6:28-29).
Hello everyone, I would like to share my review taken from one of our Spiritual Book called RETURN TO THE GOSPEL OF THE WATER AND THE SPIRIT REVISED EDITION written by Rev Paul C Jong. May God bless His work!
In order to clear up the misconception of how one can approach God or Please Him. I have entitled my review as; THERE IS NO SALVATION IN YOUR HUMAN WORKS BUT ONLY IN THE WORK OF BELIEVING THAT JESUS CAME BY THE WATER, BLOOD AND THE SPIRIT(1John5:6). Because we are all born as the descendant of Adam, it is the definite truth that we are all born as sinners destined for hell. For the perfect Law of God has declared that the wages of sin is death, so it is only literal for each one of us to face this death as sinners. But because God is so Loving and merciful, He had already planned to save us all sinners born as the descendant of Adam through His perfect Salvation in His Son Jesus Christ. To revealing His perfect plan of our Salvation, God had to instantly show us through our Fore parents Adam and Eve, when they immediately died in Spirit due to disobedience. At that point God showed us the plan of our Salvation on how mankind may return back to God and please Him by clothing our parents Adam and Eve with the skin of a Sacrificed animal. Even though Adam and Eve thought of their own works to cover up their nakedness(Sin) by wearing the fig leaves, this never at any point washed them from their sins or cover up their nakedness for a long period, because no man can wash away His own sins by his works. That is why it was important that Adam and Eve had humbled themselves and accepted the perfect clothing or garment of an animal skin from the Lord which lasted and brought them back to the presence of God. For only the garment from God Himself is what cover up ones nakedness. As such a perfect method of saving mankind from sin, God showed us also through our forefathers of the old, that salvation or forgiveness of sins can only take place by the means of sacrifice. God had established the method through which the Israelites would receive forgiveness of their sins. God declared that whenever the Israelites sinned he or she must present the unblemished sacrificial animal before the Tabernacle of God and confessed his or her sins onto the body of animal by the means of laying on of hands which is the transferring of sins, then after, the ordained high priest was to kill the animal after it had accepted the sins by laying of hands. Then that person was forgiven for the daily sins. But even though it was set so, no all persons could consistently present their sacrificial offerings for the atonement of their own sins. So God had to established it in a way that all people could receive the atonement of sins by allowing the ordained high priest Aaron, Moses’s brother and his descendant to begin to stand as the representative of all the people of Israel on the specified day for their atonement of sins. That was on the 10th of the Seventh month(Leviticus16:29), God declared that whenever this day comes all the Israelites from all nations must go to the Tabernacle of God and confess all their wickedness or sins to the high priest Aaron, then Aaron was to stand as the representative of all the people to be the one who transferred all their sins onto the sacrificial unblemished animal by the laying on of his hands(Leviticus16vs21) instead of each Israelite passing over his or her sins onto the Sacrificed animal by themselves. So as the high priest transferred all the Israelites sins onto the sacrificial animal then the animal was led down to death by sending it in the wilderness, where it roamed until death, thus permitting the people of Israel to receive the forgiveness of their yearly sins. Amen! As such a method was only a shadow of the reality Jesus Christ(Hebrews10:1). The shadow was never able to completely wash away all the sins of the Israelites (Hebrews10:2). For this reason, when Christ was about to come into the world, he said to God: *You do not want sacrifices and offerings, but you have prepared a body for me. You are not pleased with animals burned whole on the altar or with sacrifices to take away sins. Then I said, ‘Here I am, to do your will, O God, just as it is written of me in the book of the Law.’(Hebrews10:5-7, Mathews5:17). That is why if anyone wants to approach God or Please Him, he or she must pass through Jesus Christ, who was able to fulfil the law by the means of His baptism which He received from John the Baptist the last high priest and the representative of mankind to take away all the sins of the world, also by the means of His blood shed on the Cross where He paid the wages of sin with His precious blood and by the means of His resurrection through which newness of life is obtained once and for all to all who believe in this truth(John6:28-29). Jesus accomplished the eternal atonement of sins as the only ransom for us all mankind born as sinners. So this is the only way anyone can approach God or Please Him only by the means of His Son Jesus Christ who came by both His baptism, death and resurrection(1John5:6). For pleasing or approaching God has nothing to do with anyone’ work like offering daily prayers of repentance, fasting tirelessly or giving much contributions of materials and finances in your respective denominations. For there is only one work that pleases God, and that is through believing in both the ministry of John the Baptist as the last high priest and the representative of mankind and in the eternal Lamb of God Jesus Christ correctly.
