Now am saved by the original gospel that is the gospel of the water and the spirit. His death and resurrection that God revealed to us. Jesus Christ washed away my sin all at one time by being baptized at the Jordan and through this gave me salvation.

John the Baptists testified that Jesus was the lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. The baptism of Jesus and His blood is the original gospel of being born again. It is the blessing from God for all the sinners of the world. Again, without the baptism of Jesus there is no passing on of our sins, and without the baptism shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. All our sins were passed on to Jesus before He took them to the cross, in being born again through the gospel, we become free of all the sins of the world.
