After reading and studying the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit through Rev Paul C. Jong`s books, I came to fully understand the full purpose of Jesus`s ministry.
I have been a Christian for over 18 years. But I never truly understood why Jesus was baptized and how as a Christian I am free from sin. The apostles never talked about their sins or kept asking for forgiveness, so I started to wonder why.
Then I was given a book, English book one to be specific. I studied that book thoroughly. I came to a well-researched conclusion: the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit is very correct.
You see there`s a difference between a person who believes in Jesus and understands the reasons why he was baptized crucified and then resurrected. That`s how God reconnected us back to Himself.
2 Corinthians 5:17-21
[17]Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come.
[18]All this is done by God, who through Christ changed us from enemies into his friends and gave us the task of making others his friends also.
[19]Our message is that God was making the whole human race his friends through Christ. God did not keep an account of their sins, and he has given us the message which tells how he makes them his friends.
[20]Here we are, then, speaking for Christ, as though God himself were making his appeal through us. We plead on Christ`s behalf: let God change you from enemies into his friends!
[21]Christ was without sin, but for our sake God made him share our sin so that in union with him we might share the righteousness of God.
Jesus who was without sin, was our perfect sacrifice to take away all of our SINS, past, present, and future sins. We made pure because of Jesus` baptism.
In the Old Testament, when people sinned, an animal without blemish was offered as a sacrifice, a temporary solution.
John the Baptist baptized the baptism of repentance from sin, but it never took away all the sins from a Man`s Life.
But when Jesus was baptized and crucified, He was the perfect sacrifice, eternally taking our sins, washing us of our sins. How? By believing in Jesus` baptism.
John 1:29
[29]The next day John saw Jesus coming to him, and said, “There is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!
This saves us from eternal destruction, Jesus` baptism. We can never gain freedom from sin, or earn salvation by our own good works. No animal sacrifice can reconnect us back to God. Because in order for us to be accepted by God, we must have no sin. How was that possible? Well, Jesus Christ took all our sins away through his baptism once and for all. All good works by man are filthy rags.
That`s how we are free from sin, because Jesus paid it all, through his baptism and crucification. That was his main purpose to reconnect us back to God. Making us pure.
I felt relief, freedom and love after reading books by Rev Paul C.Chong like "have you truly been born again of the water and the spirit, the fail safe way for you to receive the holy spirit, return to the gospel of the Water and the Spirit, our lord who becomes the righteousness of God, the tabernacle a detailed portrait of Jesus Christ, the elementary principles of Christ, spiritual growth...... I discovered a lot of Truth that is in the Bible that worldly Christians don`t actually understand or preach about.
It`s very important that we reach out to as many as possible because many claim to follow Jesus Christ, but they don`t know how they can free from sin, why Jesus was baptized, why Jesus had to be baptized and crucified, and what it means for us who claim to believe in Jesus.
The Gospel of the Water and the Spirit must reach every believer. They must know what our savior did for us.
