What Is True Repentance That Leads Us to Receive the Holy Spirit? (Acts 2:38)

The Holy Spirit, being Holy, does not dwell in the hearts of sinners no matter how fervently they offer their daily repentance prayers pray to God to receive Him.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit a gift from God given to the person who repents of believing in God in incorrectly and confesses that they were born in sin and are destined for hell according to Gods law that states the wages of sin to be death (Romans 6:23)
The Holy Spirit dwells only in the sanctified hearts of the people who receive the forgiveness of all their sins by faith in the baptism of Jesus from John the Baptist where He shouldered the sin of the world (Matthew 3:13-17).
The Holy Spirit is Gods gift to those who`s hearts have been washed clean by Gods righteousness through the water, blood and spirit and it contains the meaning of the fulfilment of God`s promise.
