Om waarlik wedergebore te word moet ‘n sondaar vrygespreek word van alle sonde, en dit is slegs moontlik om in beide die doop van Jesus en in Sy bloed aan die Kruis te glo. Laat ons nou met geloof in die Evangelie van die water en die Gees toegang tot die Koningryk van die Hemel te kry as die regverdiges in wie geen sonde gevind is nie.

John was the representative of all mankind and a descendant of Aaron the High priest. Aaron laid his hands on the head of the scapegoat and passed all the yearly sins of the Israelites onto it on the Day of Atonement. It is a shadow of the good things to come.
