IT Nel Cristianesimo di oggi, le questioni più frequentemente discusse sono «la salvezza dal peccato» e «l’inabitazione dello Spirito Santo».

Tuttavia, poche persone hanno una conoscenza precisa di queste due idee, nonostante il fatto che esse siano i due concetti più importanti nel Cristianesimo. Ciò che è peggio, non riescono a trovare alcuno scritto biblico che insegni chiaramente riguardo alle questioni menzionate sopra.
Ci sono stati molti autori cristiani che hanno glorificato i doni dello Spirito Santo o descritto le vite piene dello Spirito. Ma nessuno di loro osa affrontare la domanda fondamentale: «Come può un credente ricevere con certezza lo Spirito Santo?» Perché? La verità sorprendente è che non hanno potuto scriverne in modo completo perché non ne avevano una conoscenza esatta.
Come il profeta Osea gridò: «Il mio popolo è distrutto per mancanza di conoscenza», al giorno d’oggi non pochi cristiani sono trascinati nel fanatismo religioso, sperando di ricevere lo Spirito Santo. Essi credono che riceveranno lo Spirito Santo raggiungendo uno stato di frenesia e isteria. Ma non è un’esagerazione dire che la loro cosiddetta fede riduce il Cristianesimo a un mero sciamanesimo poco profondo, e che tale fanatismo deriva da Satana.
L’autore Pastore Paul C. Jong osa proclamare la verità. Egli tratta i soggetti essenziali in modo completo, che la maggior parte degli scrittori spirituali ha evitato per molto tempo. Egli definisce innanzitutto il significato di «essere nati di nuovo» e di «l’inabitazione dello Spirito Santo», e spiega la relazione inevitabile tra questi due concetti fondamentali. Poi percorre l’intero ambito della descrizione riguardante lo Spirito Santo, da «come discernere gli spiriti» a «la via per le vite piene dello Spirito».

EN In Christianity today, the most frequently discussed issues are "salvation from sin" and "the indwelling of the Holy Spirit."

However, few people have precise knowledge of these two ideas, despite the fact that they are the two most important concepts in Christianity. What is worse, they cannot find any biblical writing that clearly teaches us about the issues mentioned above.
There have been lots of Christian authors glorifying the gifts of the Holy Spirit or describing the Spirit-filled lives. But any of them doesnt dare to deal with the fundamental question, "How can a believer surely receive the Holy Spirit?" Why? Surprising truth is that they couldnt write about it in full-scale because they didnt have exact knowledge of it.
As Prophet Hosea cried out, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge," nowadays, not a few Christians are drawn into religious fanaticism, hoping to receive the Holy Spirit. They believe that they will receive the Holy Spirit by reaching a state of frenzy and hysteria. But it is no exaggeration to say that their so-called faith reduces Christianity to mere shallow Shamanism, and that such fanaticism derives from Satan.
The author Rev. Paul C. Jong dares to proclaim the truth. He deals the essential subjects in full-scale, which most spiritual writers have evaded for a long time. He first defines the meaning of "being born again" and "the indwelling of the Holy Spirit," and explains the inevitable relationship between the two pivotal concepts. Then he runs the whole gamut of description concerning the Holy Spirit, from "how to discern the spirits" to "the way to Spirit-filled lives."
