Paul, who was sent out by the church in Antioch, passed through the prison in Philippi, the marketplace in Athens, and the uproar in Ephesus, and was bound in Jerusalem; then, after standing before governors and a king, he reached Rome on a ship in the midst of a storm.
Acts chapters 12–28 show that what Paul testified of, as he stood before people both high and low along that road, was one thing. He had nothing to preach except this salvation: Jesus, who received baptism from John and had the sin of the world, including our sins, passed on to Him, shed His blood on the Cross, received its judgment in our place, and rose again from death—this salvation that remitted our sins, leaving none behind. Whether in a high place or a low place, the salvation Paul preached is the same.
