Greetings to You in the name of our Saviour Jesus Christ! I, sushanta kumar Bhatra, a small servant of God, first of all thanks to my Saviour God who helped me to get this book. I express my gratitude to dear Paul C. Jong and his team and all the contributors for this special book. The book “HAVE YOU TRULY BEEN BORN AGAIN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT?” is the book of sermon which can transform the people’s life. Paul C. Jong, the author of this book highlighted the Baptism of Jesus which plays major role in our understanding and receiving the salvation. This book made me to think and when I read it, it gave me a clear understanding about what really mean “Born Again”. It gave me a broad understanding about Sin, Salvation, Atonement and specially Baptism of Jesus. I understood and also accept that we were sinners and Jesus Christ who came to this world as a perfect and without blemish Lamb for Sacrifice of our sins. One has to believe in the baptism of Jesus, His eternal atonement for all our sins and finally we have to believe in the gospel of Water and spirit, the written Word of God. The testimonies of salvation encouraged me to work more and more to reach more people for Christ. The questions and answers clarified many of my doubts which had before getting this book. Once again I praise God that God has given me this opportunity to share His Word and I have decided to be a co-worker of this Mission. HALLELUJAH TODAY I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE THE VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM ROMANS 10:9-11. I THANK ALMIGHTY GOD FOR BLESSING ME WITH THE FAITH OF THE APOSTLES OF JESUS CHRIST BY WHICH GOD BLESS ME WITH EQUAL WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE LIKE THAT OF APOSTLES, SO WHEN I READ THE EPISTLES OF THE APOSTLES, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT UNRAVEL EVERYTHING FOR HIS PRAISE AND GLORY. HALLELUJAH I ONCE AGAIN AND FOREVERMORE SO GRATEFUL TO GOD ALMIGHTY FOR BEING IN ME. ONLY JESUS CHRIST DESERVES ALL GLORY. AMEN OK LET'S GO THROUGH THE MESSAGE OF APOSTLE PAUL AND RECEIVE THE ABUNDANT BLESSINGS AND SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST: AMEN (Romans 10 ) ------------ 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Apostle Paul writing is like a parable which LORD JESUS CHRIST told to the people while preaching The Kingdom of God. So many times people find and found it hard to comprehend as what he was talking about. Even Apostle Peter found and confirmed the believers of his time how Apostle Paul writing is hard to understand by those corrupt mind. (2 Peter 3 ) ------------ 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation--as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. Wisdom and writing of Apostle Paul gifted by God Almighty can be understood by only those who have the same and parallel faith as that of The Apostles of JESUS CHRIST. Otherwise it just become big puzzle and people with corrupt mind twist the very meaning of what Apostle Paul was saying and thus end up in destruction in hell, for they try to understand the Spiritual Wisdom with their carnal mind. So let's come back to Romans 10:9 where Apostle Paul wrote first, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus." So how do we confess Lord Jesus? In the beginning of The Gospel we see Angel Gabriel meeting Mary and also Joseph in dream when he was planning to leave Mary secretly knowing that she was pregnant. Let's see through the scriptures: (Luke 1 ) ------------ 26 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, 27 to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 And having come in, the angel said to her, "Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!" 29 But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and considered what manner of greeting this was. 30 Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. 31 AND BEHOLD, YOU WILL CONCEIVE IN YOUR WOMB AND BRING FORTH A SON, AND SHALL CALL HIS NAME JESUS. 32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. (Matthew 1 ) ------------ 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and YOU SHALL CALL HIS NAME JESUS, FOR HE WILL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS." Both to Mary & Joseph Angel Gabriel came to them and instructed them to name the holy child from Virgin Mary, "JESUS" THE MEANING OF JESUS IS , "THE ONE WHO WILL SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS." SO as APOSTLE PAUL wrote that we need to confess with our mouth LORD JESUS: THE SAVIOUR WHO SAVED HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. AND HOW DID JESUS COME TO SAVE HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS? WE HAVE THE ANSWER AS TESTIFIED BY GOD THE FATHER, let's see through the scriptures: (1 John 5 ) ------------ 6 This is He (JESUS) WHO CAME BY WATER AND BLOOD--JESUS CHRIST; NOT ONLY BY WATER, BUT BY WATER AND BLOOD. AND IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO BEARS WITNESS, BECAUSE THE SPIRIT IS TRUTH. 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; FOR THIS IS THE WITNESS OF GOD WHICH HE HAS TESTIFIED OF HIS SON. Apostle John specifically clarified and wrote as how JESUS became The Saviour who saved His people from their sins. JESUS to save the people from their sins came by WATER AND BLOOD as testified in 1John5:6, And it is THE SPIRIT who bore witness. WATER JESUS came by Water here means that He took His Water Baptism by the hand of Greatest Earthly Holy High Priest John the Baptist in Jordan River to take away all the sins of the world thus becoming THE LAMB OF GOD. WE FIND THE TESTIMONY OF GOD THE FATHER VOICED FROM HEAVEN AS WELL AS THE HOLY SPIRIT IN A FORM OF A DOVE. (Matthew 3 ) ------------ 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" 15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "PERMIT IT TO BE SO NOW, FOR THIS IT IS FITTING FOR US TO FULFILL ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS." Then he allowed Him. 16 When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and HE SAW THE SPIRIT OF GOD DESCENDING LIKE A DOVE AND ALIGHTIN UPON HIM. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "THIS IS MY BELOVED SON, IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED." God The Father was well pleased in seeing His Only Son JESUS receiving His Baptism from the hand of John the Baptist fulfilling All Righteousness of The Law of REMISSION of Sins, taking away all the sins of the world thus becoming THE LAMB OF GOD. (John 1 ) ------------ 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 THE NEXT DAY JOHN SAW JESUS COMING TOWARD HIM, AND SAID, "BEHOLD! THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD! WITHOUT HIS WATER (BAPTISM) JESUS COULD NOT BE THE LAMB TO TAKE AWAY ALL THE SINS OF THE WORLD. THUS IT WAS MANDATORY FOR JESUS TO RECEIVE HIS BAPTISM TO BECOME THE LAMB TAKING AWAY ALL THE SINS OF THE WORLD, SO HE COULD DEFINE HIS NAME JESUS: THE ONE WHO SAVED HIS PEOPLE FROM THEIR SINS. HE SAVED IT BY HIS WATER (BAPTISM) BECOMING THE LAMB OF GOD. JESUS not only came by water as stated in 1John5:6, "JESUS CHRIST; not only by WATER, but by WATER and BLOOD." BLOOD JESUS ALSO CAME BY BLOOD which means His Death on The Calvary Cross. The reason JESUS shed His Blood to death was because the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23). JESUS had to pay all the wages of sins which He took away by His Water (Baptism). By Baptism JESUS CHRIST became worthy to die on the cross to pay all the wages of the sins of the world. Thus JESUS shed His blood to death on the Cross to redeem the world from its sins. Yes it is finished and we are all released from the burden and wages of all sins as JESUS PAID IT ALL WITH HIS VERY LAST DROP OF BLOOD. (John 19 ) ------------ 28 After this, JESUS, KNOWING THAT ALL THINGS WERE NOW ACCOMPLISHED, THAT THE SCRIPTURE MIGHT BE FULFILLED, said, "I thirst!" 29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 So when JESUS had received the sour wine, HE SAID, "IT IS FINISHED!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. SO THIS IS HOW WE SHOULD CONFESS LORD JESUS, MEANING HOW JESUS SAVED THE WORLD FROM ITS SINS BY HIS BAPTISM AND CROSS. ONLY WHEN WE CONFESS LORD JESUS: THE SAVIOUR WHO SAVED THE WORLD FROM ITS SINS BY HIS BAPTISM AND DEATH, THEN WE CAN CONTINUE FURTHER OF ROMANS 10:9, ".....and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Yes we need to CONFESS how JESUS SAVED THE WORLD BY HIS BAPTISM AND DEATH and further believe in our heart that God The Father raised Him from the dead (RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST). SO ONLY WHEN WE CONFESS WITH OUR MOUTH THAT JESUS CHRIST SAVED US FROM ALL OUR SINS BY HIS BAPTISM (WATER) AND CROSS (BLOOD) AND BELIEVE IN OUR HEART THAT GOD THE FATHER RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD (RESURRECTION), WE WILL BE SAVED. Look how beautifully and in full confirmation Apostle Paul wrote to us by using the word, "WILL", that only when we confess with our mouth as how JESUS saved us from all our sins by His Baptism and Cross, and believe in our heart that He rose again from the dead, WE WILL BE SAVED. APOSTLE PAUL didn't use other conditional word such as, "SHALL." For Apostle Paul knew only when we believe JESUS CHRIST BAPTISM, CROSS AND RESURRECTION WE WILL BE SAVED. AND in ROMANS 10:10 WE SEE (Romans 10 ) ------------ 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." Yes with the heart we need to believe how JESUS CHRIST fulfilled All Righteousness of the law of REMISSION of sins to save us from all our sins by His Baptism (Mat 3:15) and confess with our mouth as how He saved us by His Baptism, Cross & Resurrection, so our confession is made unto salvation. And in Romans 10:11 we see the scriptures saying whoever believes in JESUS CHRIST will not be put to shame because He bore all our sins, shames & sickness by His Baptism and Cross and gave us ETERNAL BRAND NEW LIFE free of all sins by His Resurrection, BORN AGAIN OF HIS WATER AND THE SPIRIT. GOD BLESS ALL WHO BELIEVES IN THE BAPTISM, CROSS AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS CHRIST WITH THE NEW ETERNAL LIFE OF HIS WATER AND THE SPIRIT. HALLELUJAH AMEN

THE FAITH IN THE BAPTISM OF JESUS CHRIST IS MUST. Many are lost with their prayer of repentance instead of heeding to the voice of Jesus Christ of being born again of Water and the Spirit. They are just idolizing the cross and have turned deaf, dumb and blind to All Righteousness of Jesus Christ which He fulfilled by His Baptism. In simple English, Without The Baptism of Jesus Christ there would be no Cross and thus No Resurrection. No redemption from sins at all for mankind. That's why despite of John the Baptist reasoning and reluctance, Jesus Christ advised him to baptized Jesus Christ in Jordan River, as it was the only way Jesus Christ could become the saviour of mankind from sins. (Matthew 3 ) 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" 15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him. John the Baptist who was the descendant of Aaron The High Priest and greatest man born from women (Mat 11:11) became The Greatest High Priest for humankind on Earth and thus Jesus Christ knew that to take away the sins of the world He must receive His Baptism so He can pay the wages of all the sins on The Cross for remission of all the sins of the world. By Baptism Jesus Christ became the Lamb of God shouldering all the sins of the world and offered Himself as two unblemished goats for the eternal redemption of mankind from sins. Had there been two, God Father would have sent both, but God had One & Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ, thus He fulfilled both the roles of the two unblemished goats for remission of sins: 1. Right After Baptism in Jordan River by the hand of John the Baptist shouldering all the sins of the world as The Lamb of God went to wilderness as scapegoat fasted 40 days and 40 nights, and won over all three temptations. Had Jesus Christ failed these trials, we would all be dead still in sins. But those temptations which all human fails, He won over all and gave us victory. 2. Next He became the sin offering as He walked to the cross to pay all the wages of sins by His precious blood and death. (Hebrews 9 ) 11 But Christ came as High Priest of the good things to come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. 12 Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, 14 how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? So to obtain this free gift of eternal redemptions one must believe in The Baptism of Jesus Christ without which there is no Wilderness Offering (Scapegoat) or The Sin Offering (The Cross). Only when one believes The Baptism of Jesus Christ, you will be baptized with Jesus Christ, die with Him and rise again with Him and have New Life of Water and The Spirit of Jesus Christ. (Romans 6 ) 3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (John 3 ) 3 Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."... 5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Without the faith in The Baptism of Jesus Christ, one will not obtain eternal redemption from sins but instead become the one who practice lawlessness, who won't inherit the Kingdom of God. (Matthew 7 ) 21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' 23 And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' So if you want to enter The Kingdom of God and want to hear from Heaven, the declaration from God Father, "You are my beloved child," then one must have faith starting from The Baptism of Jesus Christ where Jesus Christ fulfilled ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS of He becoming The Lamb of God who takes away all the sins of the world. (Matthew 3 ) 13 Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. 14 And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?" 15 But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Thus The United Faith in The Baptism, Cross and Resurrection of Jesus Christ is must without which there is no remissions of sins. The Baptism, Cross and Resurrection is the testimony of God Father which He gave of His One and Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ. (1 John 5 ) 6 This is He who came by water and blood--Jesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. 7 For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. 10 He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself; he who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son. 11 And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. The faith in the Baptism of Jesus Christ is must for you to die and rise with Jesus Christ and become His Born Again Child born of Water and the Spirit of Jesus Christ. WHTY DID CHRIST DIE VICARIOUSLY FOR MANY> This was because Jesus accepted the sins of the world through the baptism which he received from John the Baptist; Matt.3:15. This baptism was because Jesus had to shoulder the sins of the world onto to cross, for this was the will of God, Isaiah 53:10. The reason for God sending him to this world was to bruise him because he was made sinful in his baptism. This love of God was emphasised by John, in 1 John 4:10, "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins." By obeying the will of God, he laid down his majesty and power, the compassion of his disciples and the great welcome of his people, because a righteous way was made for him to accept all the sins of the world by being baptised, he died for us, Isaiah 53:6, "All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." He opened a new way for us; Hebrews 10:20, " By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh." Jesus had to go through his baptism by John in order to satisfy the righteousness of God, whether people recognised it or not, because it was the desire of God the Father. He faced the accursed and terrifying death of the cross. Because of God's will, he was silent in his suffering; Isaiah 53:7, "He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth; he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth." Although he was falsely accused, harshly beaten, plucked of his beard, and spat at for carrying the sins of the world passed onto him from John through his baptism, he remained silent. Also, because it was the will of the Father for him to be baptised and thus die, he died for the sake of those who believe. At the age of 30, he was judged for the sins of the world which he shouldered and crucified at the age of 33 to shed his blood. He rose again from the dead, and became the eternal Saviour for those of us who believe in this truth.
