I have a habit of closing my eyes after i read something about the Water and the Spirit. As i look at John the Baptist baptizing Jesus in the Jordan River i cry out Thank you Jesus. When i look at the price he had to pay for my sins when he was lead to the cross placed upon it and died, with tears in my eyes i say Thank you Jesus. When i look at his grave and watch as he comes to Heaven and now has allowed me to, With joy i say Thank you Jesus.
When one understands the water and the spirit, you come to realize that if you don`t believe both the water and the spirit, you are lost. You now know that you no longer have sin in your heart and this was made possible because of the water and the spirit. You No longer have to walk in this world with the fear of being a sinner.Even now i wake up and confess that i have committed sins of the flesh but because i am worthless as a human who does not deserve to be forgiven has been just that { forgiven}
There are no tricks or gimicks to the Water and the Spirit, John the Baptist placed all the sins of the world upon jesus when he baptized him. When Jesus died on the cross, he paid for them and when he was resurrected, he waits for us.
There is no other way to be forgiven for our sin. It does not take a person with an I .Q of 180 to understand this. All that God asked us to do was believe in what his son Jesus Christ did for us with Faith and he will be waiting for us with open arms. I hope and pray that everyone will come to understand what John the Baptist and our Lord Jesus did for us Amen.
