KNOWING YOUR BAPTISM, JESUS HAS PLEASED ME, JUST AS YOU PLEASED GOD THE FATHER.
I am so delighted to know that the Heaven Father was pleased to witness that His Son, Jesus Christ, had taken all the sins of the world upon His own righteous body on His baptism he received from John the Baptist, who is the last high priest on earth and the representative of mankind. John the Baptist passed all the sins of the world onto Jesus’s body by the method of laying on of hands. Mathews 3:16-17 says that immediately our Lord Jesus Christ accepted all the sins of every mankind when John baptized Him, it pleased God the Father, knowing that His Son became the savior of the all world. This very pleasantest has now come to dwell before my soul, as I have come to understand and believe that truly Jesus Christ the Son of God and God Himself was baptized by John the Baptist to take away all my sins of all days, past, present and future sins upon His own righteous body, and was made to become sinful for me and the entire world, He who knew no sin at all(2 Corinthians 5:21). But it did not end there, because all the sins of the world which He took on His baptism led Him to go on the cross where He finished the complete work of the righteousness of God, by His vicarious death, where paid all the wages of sin of the world(Romans 6:23), just as the unblemished sacrificial animal of the Old Testament was slaughtered on its throat or sent into the desert to roam around until it’s death to receive the condemnation on behalf of the Israelites after carrying their sins by the laying on of the high priest’s hands yearly. Wow!! This is such mysterious, good news to know! Hallelujah…!!! May the Living God continue to help me to hold on to this faith in His baptism, death, and resurrection until I enter His Kingdom. Amen.
