Elementary Princiole of Christ:- the Apostles' Faith

I want to give this review as by the grace of God have come to realise the importance of the true confession of Jesus according to the "Epistle of Paul to the Romans, Rom.10:9-10". It states, v9 " That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." v10 " For with the heart man delieveth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation." I believe this confession is based on the gospel of the water and the Spirit because when we meditate on the words of the Epistle we see that this confession came from the Apostles' faith, termed " the Apostles' Creed." The Apostles faith is based on the knowledge of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as one God who exist in three persons.   When I look at me, Samuel I see that God created me, spirit, soul and body; this is my make up. Likewise when I consider our Father who art in Heaven I see Him as God the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit, and this three is one just as I Samuel is one person. Therefore we must see that if we do not believe in all the persons of the triune God then we have misbelieved, and our faith is not complete.   Let us see how God revealed Himself to Children of Israel:- " And God said to mosses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' and He said, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel.'"I AM has sent me to you.'" We should understand that God's Name is Yahweh as appeared in all the scriptures, it is the common name by which God reveals himself to mankind. As the name was sacred to the people of Israel, the latter adopted the name Adonai to call upon Him. The meaning of this name is the Lord of all in the following manner: 1) One that exists, 2)One that is the Lord of life; and 3) one that always was, always is, and will exist forever by Himself. We call God as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The name of the Son of God the Father is Jesus Christ. This name means He who saves His people from their sins. This means that all Christians must have faith in God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit This was the faith of the Apostles' Creed.   The difficulty of not walking in the Apostles faith is that it was not handed down to us in writing, but revealed only in their Epistles, hence we struggle to share and spread the faith. What then is the Apostles faith? It is enshrined in the Apostles' Creed made after the Apostolic Age. It is a statement of their faith recorded by the generation who came after them.   The Apostles' faith is the faith in the works of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Baptism that we receive when we accept God as our saviour ( that is accept God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit as our Saviour) requires from us the faith that confesses the following: that Jesus' baptism has cleansed all our sins; that through the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross that all our sins were accordingly judged; and that Jesus was sent by His Father as the saviour of sinners. Only when we believe that we were redeemed by the baptism and the blood of Jesus can we receive the Holy Spirit from God. Therefore to receive our water baptism, the following question would have been asked by the Apostles: 1) " Do you believe when Jesus was baptised by John all your sins were taken from you and placed on Jesus' shoulder.?" If the answer was "Yes, I believe that all my sins and the sins of the world were taken upon by Jesus." Then the next question would have been: "Do you believe that Jesus having shouldered all your sins by being baptised by John, shed His blood on the cross?" If the answer to this is "Yes", Then baptism would have been ministered in the name of God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. So faith in the Triune God begins with the confession, "I believe in God, the Father almighty, the creator of heaven and earth." Only to those who believe and confess this, the Apostles would baptise in the name of God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. The true Christian faith was granted by God to those who believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. This is why God's church was built on the foundation of the twelve disciples' faith.   The Apostles' creed can be traced back to the Edict of Milan in 313 A.D. signed by the Roman Emperor Constantine, and the Christian religion ceased to be an outlawed faith and generated growing interest in Christianity among all Romans. This brought a standard of faith for new believers who wanted to be part of God's church. The Apostles' creed came about to cater for the need of believers after the Apostolic age. It became compromised and watered down being revised by many religious councils following the Apostolic Age. The Apostles' faith needs to revisited through the faith of the gospel of the water and the Spirit which shows the difference between the various Christian doctrines and the true faith.   However, because of the dilution of the Apostles' faith after the Apostolic Age, and the persecution followers of the true faith many have fled to many religions which taught doctrines contrary to the Apostles' faith. We see that greater work now has to done to bring many back to faith of the twelve Apostles which is enshrined in the gospel of the water and the Spirit.   There three confessions in the Apostles' faith need to develop our faith in the Triune God. We must believe in God the Father Almighty, the creator of the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1), We must confess that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who has given us the remission of sins. We must also confess that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Spirit. We must confess that we believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, for we must have the same faith as the twelve Apostles. Therefore, to walk in the same faith as handed down to the Apostles, we must believe in the Triune God, The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, for the three are fundamentally and completely one.   We can see that any doctrine which excludes any one of the persons of the trinity from his/her faith cannot walk in the truth that gives the Holy Spirit whom all believers need for help and comfort.

    PRAYER TO MY ELI.

Our Father in Heaven Hallowed be Thy Name We give Thee praise and thanks always and forevermore. We thank Thee for sending us Thy One & Only Begotten Son Lord Jesus Christ. To this world through the body of virgin Mother Mary. As the unblemished lamb of God To shouldered all the sins of the world through the hand of John The Baptist. Our last high priest in River Jordan. Thus fulfilling all righteousness to declare mankind innocent. For God Jesus Christ the Son took all our sins as the unblemished lamb of God From first man Adam to last man standing on this earth From the day I woke up in this world to my last deep sleep.   Our God Jesus Christ The Son. Hallowed be Thy Name. We give Thee praise and thanks always and forevermore. We thank Thee for taking away all the sins of the world By Thy Water (Baptism in River Jordan) through the hand of John The Baptist. We thank Thee for preaching Kingdom of Heaven We thank Thee for healing us all by Thy stripes And we thank Thee for the blood that Thou shed on that Calvary Cross To pay the penalty of sins of the world which Thou shouldered in River Jordan To welcome us all in Thy Kingdom. We thank Thee for Thy resurrection Making us all those who believe in Thy Gospel of Water & The Spirit A new creation.   Our God The Holy Spirit. Hallowed be Thy Name. We give Thee praise and thanks always and forevermore. For teaching and showing us the ways of Heaven. And guiding us in our each and every step That God the Father Willed and God the Son Fulfilled. To turn us into new creations worthy to enter His Realm. Above all I thank Thee God The Holy Spirit. For giving me and being the witness of my salvation In the Water, Blood & The Spirit The witness God the Father bore to us of His One & Only Begotten Son. God Jesus Christ. Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah................. In God Jesus Christ. Amen.
