In the last days, what must we prepare first? Through Matthew chapters 24–28, this book equips us with faith in Jesus’ baptism, Cross, and resurrection, as well as the faith that prepares for the signs of the end of the age, the great tribulation, and the Second Coming.

Preparing to meet the Lord does not lie in escaping disaster. As the parable of the ten virgins shows, it is believing the gospel of the water and the Spirit, receiving the remission of sins, and welcoming the Holy Spirit into your heart.

Through the baptism He received from John the Baptist, Jesus took the world’s sins upon Himself, was judged and died on the Cross as payment for those sins, and rose again to complete our salvation from sin. Whoever believes this gospel receives the remission of all sins and the Holy Spirit, and becomes a child of God.

Do not fear the last days. Discern the times by the Word of God, unite with His Church to serve the gospel with your entrusted talents, and stay awake and keep the faith until the Lord returns.
