My review of book 68 titled “If You Have Confusion and Emptiness in Your Heart, Seek the Light of the Truth ( II )”

All the saints written in the Bible had the true faith that delivered them from the sins of the world. From Apostle Peter to Martha, Lazarus’s sister. We can also receive the remission of our sins and commune with God when we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who took away all our sins once and for all by being baptized by John the Baptist at the age of 30 and crucified on the Cross. Peter said “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” People of faith like Peter will be saved from their lifelong sins and given the right to become the children of God who can pray to Him and receive His help. Because God cannot have fellowship with us unless we first unite our hearts with His will by receiving the remission of our sins. For us to pray to God and receive His help in this end time, we must have the faith that glorifies the name of God. We can live in this turbulent world victoriously only by the help of God, we often face hardships and troubles, that is the more reason we need to have a faith that commune with God. In the end time we will stand before kings and leaders and defend our faith in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. Like Joseph of Arimathea we will boldly stand against Antichrist on the last days to glorify God with our martyrdom. Therefore, the first thing a sinner has to do to be able to commune with God is to pray to God to wash away his sins. And God will meet such a person with the Word of the water and the Spirit that Jesus Christ His Son has fulfilled for mankind.

The faith we need to unite with God is not the one that is based on Nicene Creed created by human being. Our faith must be the one that is comparable to the Word of Old Testament and New Testament. The gospel of the water and the Spirit is the fulfilment of the sacrificial system of the Old Testament. Because God found fault with the first covenant for it could not save anyone perfectly, He sought to abolish it and established the new covenant. God sealed this new covenant with an oath saying, “You are a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.” Moreover He promised that He would put His law in our minds and write it in our hearts, and not on a stone tablet or scroll. This is an amazing covenant. Just as He promised, God sent Jesus Christ His Son In the flesh of a man according to the order of Melchizedek in the age of the New Testament who was baptized by John the Baptist at the Jordan River to receive our sins onto His body, crucified and rose again from the dead to save us from our sins. He has written this Law of salvation — the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit in the minds and hearts of the believers. All the believers have the witness in their minds and hearts and as a result no sins can be found in the hearts of the believers in the Word of the water and the Holy Spirit. God has fulfilled His promise for mankind. Because the faith in the gospel of Jesus’s baptism and blood has been written in our hearts, God said He will no longer remember our sins and lawless deeds. This is the covenant that is fitting for us human beings who are weak.

The "laying on of hands" of the Old Testament sacrificial system is the baptism of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. It means that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth to save us from our sins through the baptism He received from John the Baptist and the blood He shed on the Cross. In the Old Testament God gave the Mosaic Law to the people of Israel, but because He knew they could not obey the Law, God had also given them the sacrificial system after giving the Law to Moses. You are mistaken if you think Moses came down from Mount Sinai with only the Law of do’s and don’ts when God first gave him the 613 articles of the Law. No. After giving Moses the Law on the Mount Sinai, God also showed him the pattern of the sacrificial system of the Tabernacle right there on the mountain. This further shows us the purpose of the Law and the love of God. By giving us the Law God wanted us to know that we are people who have other gods before Him, we are murderers, we are people who cannot keep all the 613 articles of the Law, and by accompanying the Law with the sacrificial system He made a way for us to receive the remission of our sins. However, the people of Israel in their arrogance pledged to keep the Law. This is like challenging God whose intention in giving the Law was to enable mankind realize their sinfulness and seek the salvation He is offering to them. Even now, there are also still people who are trying hard to keep the Law, and there are also others who claim that the law is no longer needed in their lives. Both kinds of people are wrong.

The laws was not given for us to keep, nor did God want us to throw it away. Rather it is through the law that we can see our original sinful nature and seek the salvation God is offering us. It is for us to realize that we are beings who are to be condemned for our sins and be cast to hell, that God gave us His law. If we are to void the Law, then we will no longer be able to recognize our sins and praise God for His righteousness that has come through the gospel of the water and the Spirit, nor will any sinner be able to meet the gospel of the water and the Spirit. For those who are working hard to keep the Law, God will wait for them until they realize that they cannot keep the Law, then He will give them the gospel of the water and the Spirit. I pray that everyone will meet Jesus Christ by realizing their sins and their consequences through the Law, just like the man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho met Him on his way. I hope that the Lord will meet them someday when their hearts become innocent, open and show them the gospel of the water and the Spirit.

This gospel of the water and the Spirit is not cheap, it is more precious than any precious stones. And not just anyone can see this gospel because God does not reveal this gospel of the water and the Spirit to those whose hearts are not innocent. It pleases God to hide it in this way and reveal it to those who truly yearn for it. For those whose hearts have been occupied by the Nicene Creed promulgated by Constantine and his followers in AD 325, the gospel is sealed. However, God has opened and showed the gospel of the baptism of Jesus Christ and His blood to those who are not satisfied with this man-made doctrine or things of the world. Jesus Christ, the Son of God left His throne, came to this earth and dwelt among men. He lowered Himself to such an extent because He loves us. Even though He reigns over heaven and earth as the King of kings, He still came in the flesh of a man. God made Him a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek, this means that the Son of God has saved mankind once and forever. In the Old Testament, the priests were cut off by death, so they ministered just a short time and died. God decided not to send His own Son according to the order of Aaron but according to order of Melchizedek the King of Salem who has no beginning and end of days. Jesus Christ the Son of God existed even before the foundation of the world, He was with the Father when the world was created. He is God of the Word. He created the world with His Word, everything came to exist because the Son commanded them to exist. He is the Son of God the Father and God to us. After creating everything, this God of the Word said “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness;” Jesus Christ was with His Father and the Holy Spirit when the world was created. He was the very Creator who made man and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living being (Genesis 2:7). It is Jesus Christ, the Son of God who did this work of creation and the work of saving man from sins.

When His creatures fell into the temptation of Satan and sinned against God, He left His throne and came to save His own. He is our Creator, it is fair to Him that He should pity us His own creatures because He love us who were made in His image.
He came down to save us from our sins. He has delivered us from our sin and death, by being baptized by John the Baptist to have our sins passed on His body through the laying on of hands on his head by John the Baptist. Just before his baptism John had tried to resist Him but Jesus commanded him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” (Matthew 3:15), this baptism is the only way Jesus Christ could receive our sins onto Himself and there is no other way. The next day after baptizing Jesus, John saw Him passing by and witnessed “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). He was saying that Jesus Christ has taken the sins of the world through the baptism he gave Him “yesterday”, just as the sacrificial animal took the sins of the Israelites in the Old Testament through the laying on of hands.
Three years after receiving baptism from John the Baptist He was crucified on the Cross with our sins on His body to receive the judgement appropriate for our sins and rose again from the dead. He has given us resurrection and eternal life, and now resting at the right hand of the throne of God the Father. This is how the believers in the gospel of the water and the Spirit have come to receive rest in their hearts. If Jesus Christ forgives our sins each time we ask for forgiveness through the daily prayer of repentance, then He could not be resting now. Rather He must be coming down to this earth each time we offer such prayer, and we cannot truly say with good conscience that we have received rest in our hearts as our hearts will still be bound by the fearful judgement of God because of our sins. Because God has given a law that says the wages of sin is death, it has been fated for those who have sins in their hearts to be cast into hell as punishment for their sins. But through the love of God, we can now receive the remission of our sins once and forever by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit that God’s own Son has fulfilled.

But the gospel that today’s Christians believe in is not the gospel of the water and the Spirit but a gospel that was made at the First Council of Nicaea summoned by Constantine in AD 325. It was unimaginable for Constantine to believe that Jesus Christ is the only Saviour of mankind, seeing that he was a polytheist like other Romans. How could he possibly cast out the numerous Romans gods and believe only in Jesus Christ the Son of God as His Saviour and Saviour of the whole world? Even if he had done so, he would have faced a strong opposition. It would have appeared like a betrayal to the Romans and it would also mean that other Romans gods are not true gods and Saviour. Giving such a situation, how could he possibly have gone unopposed if he had accepted Jesus Christ as the only Saviour? This is unthinkable to him, however he could have believed in Jesus Christ as the only Saviour and become the first Roman emperor to do so, and possibly lead his people also to the gospel of the water and the Spirit. But he did not do this.

Even so, Constantine had to somehow incorporate the faith of Christians into the his Roman’s belief system, since he had already made it a state religion, having previously had a dream before winning a war. It is reasonable that he did not want to completely wipe out Christian faith but to merge it with existing beliefs. He had to select the part he wanted and reject the other. He selected the blood and threw away the baptism, this is where Christians found themselves today. The Apostle’s Creed that we now have contains the faith in Jesus Christ as God’s only Son. Saying that Jesus Christ is the Son of God means that He is God Himself. Of course, I don’t know whether the writers of the Apostle’s Creed understood it as such but it is true that the Son of God is God. Jesus Christ the Son of God is equal with the Father. We can see this clearly when we go to the Bible, in Philippians 2:5-8 it is written "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross." Apostle Paul is saying that Jesus Christ has always been God. Though Jesus Christ is God who is equal with the Father, He did not hesitate to leave His throne and glory and came in the likeness of men, seen in appearance as a man and even dwelt among men. Even though He was God Himself, He humbled Himself even to the point of dying shameful death for our sins which He accepted with His baptism. We can now see why the Jews sought to stone Jesus when He said He was the Son of God. God the Father is divine so His Son must also be divine. Just in the same way human being give birth to human being.

Although we can see the word that Jesus Christ is the Son of God in the Apostle’s Creed, the makers of the Apostle’s Creed however removed an important part of the gospel of the water and the Spirit — the baptism of Jesus Christ. As Satan the Devil worked with them throughout the session of the meeting that produced the Nicene Creed. They removed the baptism of Jesus Christ and has rendered Christianity as one of the world’s religions. I heard that there is an ancient Roman tactic called “divide and conquer”, for one to keep his power, he caused a disagreement among opposing groups, weakened and subdued them. In some countries, politicians do such by bribing key members of the opposing group. Constantine deployed similar method; by removing the baptism of Jesus Christ he has turned Christians into a toothless bulldog that cannot even bark. Christianity whose faith is based on Nicene Creed has lost the light, so they cannot shine the light of Truth no matter how many times God might command them to arise and shine.

Now, Christians must realize the origin of their false faith and reform it by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit which was foreshadowed in the Old Testament. Jesus Christ the Son of God came in the New Testament according to the order of Melchizedek. Melchizedek king of Salem was written about in the Old Testament. He met Abraham on his way returning from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him. “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High” (Genesis 14:18). Melchizedek king of Salem is translated as king of peace and king of righteousness. Who then is the king of peace and King of righteousness? It is Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Melchizedek was Jesus Christ. Just as the laying on of hands in the Old Testament is the baptism of Jesus Christ in the New Testament. This Melchizedek gave Abraham bread and wine, foreshadowing Jesus Christ of the New Testament who gave us bread and wine. “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 16:26-28). Jesus gave us His body — by being baptized by John the Baptist our sins were passed onto His body. And He took the sins on His body to the Cross shedding His blood for the judgment of those sins dying on it saying “It is finished!” This is the bread and wine He brought to us. By looking at how the Word of Old Testament and New Testament match, we can see how broad the wisdom of God is and what a long plan He took to save us from our sins. There is a proverb in our place that says “Whoever eats with the Devil should use long spoon.” This means for us not to be defeated by Satan the Devil, we must calculate first and think far ahead. In the movie The Matrix Reloaded, Smith thought he could defeat Neo by cloning him into his copy. Towards the end of the movie he cloned Neo, it was not long he saw Neo body cracking and bursting so he regretted saying “Oh, no, no, no. No, it’s not fair.” It is not fair to him because he had thought he could win by cloning Neo, but Neo body bursting means all his copies including he himself will also burst, he lost the fight instead. After Jesus Christ the Son of God had pleased God the Father by taking the sins of the world with His baptism, Satan thought he could end everything by killing Him. He moved men to kill Jesus, but when Jesus said on the Cross “It is finished!”, Satan came to realize that he had lost the fight. This is how wise our God is, He hid the Truth from the evil ones.

However, Christians in the Late Antiquity fell victim of Satan’s attack. When we study a little bit more about the events prior to the First Council of Nicaea in AD 325, we can see that Devil has carefully laid a trap for Christians. Constantine had a strong opposition named Maxentius, with numerically superior armies. Before going to war with this opposition, Constantine had seen a vision of cross-shaped trophy in the sky formed from light and with the words “in this sign, conquer” written in Greek. It is said that he marked the shields of his soldiers with the cross sign before going to the war. In AD 312 he won the war — the Battle of the Milvian Bridge defeating his closest rival Maxentius who drowned in a river, thus he became an undisputed Roman emperor. After winning the war, he attributed the victory to the God of Christians and in AD 313, he issued the Edict of Milan which legalized Christianity and made it the state religion. Christians then might have felt relieved from their persecution and wanted to enjoy freedom but they never knew they were falling into a trap. Satan had already set a trap for Christians, and in the First Council of Nicaea in AD 325 Christianity was caught in this trap. At this meeting, the baptism of Jesus Christ was removed and only the blood of the Cross was emphasized from then on. The gap between AD 313 when the Edict of Milan was issued and AD 325 when the First Council of Nicaea was held was 12 years. It seems to me that the faith of Christians were weakened greatly for such a long period of not exercising their faith, because they were enjoying religious freedom without persecution. So when the First Council of Nicaea was summoned, they couldn’t resist the Nicene Creed. Constantine therefore distorted the gospel of the water and the Spirit in the Late Antiquity. They knew about the baptism of Jesus Christ before the First Council of Nicaea, they removed it intentionally, but it seems that they never really knew they were committing a great sin against God. They probably thought they were doing service to Christians and their God by editing their faith to become a universally accepted religion and merging it with Roman’s belief system. As a result, today’s Christians are still sticking to only the Cross as their salvation with do-or-die devotion.

Now therefore, we must never distort this gospel of the water and the Spirit as Constantine did. We have to keep the faith in the baptism of Jesus Christ and His bloodshed. If we follow the wicked thoughts of our flesh we will surely come to disturb the gospel of the water and the Spirit. We can avoid the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit committed by Constantine and his followers by following the Word of God and not our wicked thoughts. If we follow the Word given through God’s servant in His church and the desire of the Holy Spirit, we will never fall into the sin that Constantine fell into. The mistaken thoughts of Constantine and his hired theologians have led Christians far away from the Truth of salvation. No one should follow the Nicene Creed that is sickening the hearts of people today, we must instead be led by the Word of God. The gospel of the water and the Spirit is all that Christians of this last age need to meet the Lord again in joy. However those who fail to believe in this gospel of Jesus’s baptism and blood and follow this Word will miss the Lord and His church. God is telling us that if we fail to hold onto His Word and follow His will to preach the gospel of the water and the Spirit all over the world, and instead keep following our own wicked thoughts of the flesh we will be deported from His church someday and miss Him.

I am happy that I met the gospel of the water and the Spirit while still living in this world, otherwise I would have been cast into hell on the last day. It’s fortunate to live in this century, where one can easily find the gospel of the water and the Spirit if only one will seek it. I am sure that you too will meet the gospel of the water and the Spirit which Constantine and his followers distorted by reading this book. And I thank God for giving us His Word of salvation in this last age.

Hallelujah!
