No. 104The righteousness of God Revealed in the Law and the Prophets
I have been inspired by the Lord to read the whole of the book of DEUTERONOMY, HOWEVER I HAVE BEEN SLOW IN DOING SO. whenever I read, there are always fulfilled works of the Lord which are always manifested. Today I was reading Deut.6:1-25, and stopped at verse 24 and 25 which reads, 24, "And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is this day." 25, "And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us."

No. 102Jn.3:5 ( New birth in Christ, Water & Spirit)
I am so blessed by the recent incident whereby a family which appeared to believe in the gospel of the water and the Spirit have subsequently rejected the truth that the sins of the world were passed onto our Lord in the baptism He received from John the Baptist by the laying on of Hands. The priest of the home, the husband has declared that it was on the cross that the sins of the world were put on Jesus to make Him sinful for the whole world. I have decided by the grace of God to stop this fellowship to avoid unnecessary argument over the word of God. The word of God is so true, and I quote the words of our Lord Jesus in Mk.4:11, "And he said unto them. 'Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables'" 12, "That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at anytime they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them." For me looking at Peter's letter in 1Pet.3:20-21, we see that the flood was the judgment of God on the World. The same water of the flood was the salvation of the eight souls. The Ark as we have read came to rest on mount Ararat. This Ark was moved by the Power of God and He brought it to rest on the mount. I understand this by the revelation of God according to Gen.1:2, because the Holy Spirit was working according to the will of God. It is this "Water and the Spirit" that our Lord came to fulfil so that all believers of this are saved. Those who have not understood this parable of God draw others to Rom,10:9-10, and state that this is the only way to receive the Lord into their hearts. The word "confess" in Rom.10:9, I believe is the confession which is based on the knowledge of His works embodied in His baptism. I cannot see how anyone could receive the new life of our Lord which comes through the presence of the Holy Spirit in the heart because of the confession of His righteous works as shown in Mtt.3:15. In any case the word of God does not change. We must believe the word of God that tells us that Noah and his family were saved by Water of the Flood, and we must believe that salvation was performed by the power of God according to the will of the Godhead. I am so blessed to see from my experience that God resisted the proud and gives grace to the humble. Also the Kingdom of God is not the work of intellect but faith in the word of God. It is the absolute truth, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee. Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God." The word 'water' in this context does not mean the word of God as claimed by the other schools of thought, but the baptism of Jesus as Peter explains in 1Pet.3:21 A-men.

I am not only motivated by this books, but am encouraged and inspired to believe that d greatest revenge of any Child of God is his or her success in the proclamation of the Gospel of our lord Jesus Christ.
