Postar uma MensagemTHERE IS THEREFORE NOW NO CONDEMNATION TO THOSE WHO ARE IN CHRISTJESUS, WHO DO NOT WALK ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, BUT ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT. (Romans 8:1 Many bible versions have taken away the second part of this verse, "who do not walk according to the flesh , but according to the spirit" Those who walk according to the flesh always believe that, though they are Christians but they are sinners so they need to ask for forgiveness of sin everyday. They don't believe in Jesus' ability to forgive sin and impute on us the righteousness of God Matthew 3:15, Romans 6:18. For this reason, they always try to establish their own righteousness so they cannot put themselves under the righteousness of God. Romans 10:1-3. They don't believe in the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world John 1:29 Those who walk according to the spirit are those who believe that it is Jesus who has done all their works for them so they have no righteousness of their own. They believe that the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made them free from the law of sin and death. They have become slave to the righteousness of God. Romans 6:18. There are a lot of bible verses that we need to take the spiritual mind to read. For example 1John 1:8-9, Proverbs 28:13 and Romans 6:1. Those who walk according to the flesh think those passages are meant for Christians. When you take the proverbs 28:13 it reads "He who conceals (covers) his sin shall not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them find mercy" Look this passage is completely not for the believer. Believers sins have been covered by God Himself and not by us. Romans 4:7-8 support this fact. So it is the unbeliever who conceals his sin who the bible is talking about. Again, in 1 John 1:8-9 says "if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Again, this passage is completely not for the believer. Look every believer can claim to be without sin because Jesus has covered his sin and has made him righteous. He has no conscious of sin but conscious of his righteousness in Jesus. The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has delivered him from the law of sin and death. We must also not loose the fact that there is only one sin in the world so we need only one sacrificial lamb to attone for it. Jesus baptized, died and resurrected for our sins once. He has cleansed and perfected us forever. Walk according to the spirit and you will begin to appreciate the real love of God. Jesus the Holy spirit keeps no record of the believers sin. Stop judging and condemning yourself. You have no condemnation in His presence okay. AMEN.
Personally for me, I grew up in a so-called "Christian" faith, and for me it wasn't much of a breakthrough. I kept on asking "why this?" and "why that?" because I never understood what I believed in and never had the faith to believe in Christ but posed as though I did because that's what my family believed in. So I grew up being skeptical and accepted whatever was thrown on front of me by friends or acquaintances without any thought. And honestly, I felt terrible. I believed there was a God, and I tried my best to pray, but to no avail. I never seemed to have any meaning in my life. Nothing extraordinary, no "miracle". I kept on questioning this faith. And then one day, it happened; I moved churches. In the beginning, the Gospel preached there was vague and the same thing I heard over and over again, and honestly I was reluctant to go to church. But being a kid and all, that was not an option as I was basically dragged around everywhere by my folks, especially to church. After a couple of years, I started to realize something with the Gospel being preached at this particular church, which is NCCKL. It was no longer the same "grace" messages or worldly ideas being preached by the pastor or other people. It was different. Peculiar in the beginning, but as I started to hear it more and more, it made so much more sense than what I've been hearing for 11 years. This Gospel that I heard, was none other than the Gospel of the water and Spirit. And finally, my life had meaning again. Finally I found a reason to live. But not because of something I did or tried to do, but because of what Christ has done for me. In this Gospel, there are 3 crucial elements, that one true believer needs to know; water, blood and Spirit. Although before this I never understood what the water was and is, I now understand it's true meaning and it's importance in not only my life, but the life of every individual, sadly, many people lack it. God chose one man to represent all of mankind, not because God liked him more than another, but because he was qualified (Luke 1:5) to lay his hands onto Jesus and baptize Him. And he is no other, than John the Baptist. The laying on of hands here not only has a physical meaning, but spiritually, this is where Jesus took upon Himself all the sins of the world and became our personal sin bearer. The one thing about this Gospel, is that questions need to always be asked so that our faith could grow to become stronger and greater. One of them was "How do you know that Jesus took our sins at His baptism?" Firstly, we have to refer to the Old Testament as it is a shadow of the New Testament. They coincide with one another. So in the Old Testament, in order to atone for the sins of Israel, the high priest (Aaronic priesthood) would lay his hands on an unblemished animal, and pass the sins of Israel onto the animal which was then killed, and Israel was sent scot-free. However, this atonement was merely a temporal thing as the blood of an animal couldn't sustain long enough. This sacrificial atonement was first done per individual, then moved on per family, and then for an entire nation. However, it still wasn't enough; and that's where the New Testament takes place. (Note: This sacrificial atonement which is merely a foreshadow of what Christ will come and do for mankind has been carried out since the beginning of time as it can clearly be seen in the Garden of Eden after God covered Adam and Eve with the skin of an animal and banished them for the Garden) God knows that mankind will only keep on sinning. From the day they are born, to the day they die. However, He knows that sin shouldn't be a barrier between man, and that's why He sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ. Because only Jesus could break that barrier known as "sin". Jesus represents the unblemished animal in the Old Testament, whereas John the Baptist represents the high priest because he comes from the lineage of Aaron. Now, as mentioned before, when John laid his hands on Jesus, he passes all the sins of the world onto Him. And that's also why John later on refers to Jesus as "The Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world" in John 1:29. Then Jesus lived His life for us for 3 years where He was hated on, bruised, vilified, stricken, bruised, shamed and so on. But, why? And exactly why did He die? Romans 6:23 says "For the wages which sin pays is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"- What this verse clearly means is that sin=death. And rightfully, we all deserve to die. We all deserve to be ridiculed, and spit at and so on because of sin. But Jesus did it all for us on our behalf. When He took our sins upon Himself at the river of Jordan, it was basically a death sentence. But what did He do about it? He accepted it on our behalf, because it was the Father's will; the Will of God. So Jesus had to die, it wasn't an option for Him. And when He did, He descended into Hell, yet again on our behalf as that's where we all are supposed to go (due to unbelief) and on the 3rd day, He resurrected. Sorry for the long winded story, but I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say. On a spiritual level, I was baptized with Christ and into His death, and I resurrected into a new life. But not one of my own; His life. The moment I had faith to believe, I could feel the Holy Spirit working in my life, and that's also the reason why I'm able to talk about what Christ has done for me. This walk is not an easy one. With more than 7.4 billion people in this world, everyone walks with their own beliefs and religion. But Christ, is more than that. He's more than a religion, He's more than just knowledge. He's everything. In my day-to-day walk, there are many "Christians" who portray themselves to be children of God through their own efforts, works and deeds as I did before I came to know this Gospel. The difference that I now know, is that it has nothing to do with who I am, was and am going to be or my abilities, talents, works and deeds. It does however have everything to do with what Christ has done for me at His baptism, death and resurrection. The world teaches you what to do, and how to be and act perfect. God however teaches you that perfection can only be found in His Son. We will sin till the day we die, and that's an undeniable fact. But what God wants us to know as it says in Hebrews 8:12 and Hebrews 10:17 that our sins, He will remember no more. And I truly believe that. This isn't however a free ticket to sin. This is my faith. I believe in what Christ has done for me at His baptism, death and resurrection and I will keep on declaring that I am in fact sinless and righteous not because of my own works and deeds, but because of what my Lord has done for me. No longer do I heed to what other people have to say, but only to what my God has to say. I'm no longer on that road of destruction many are on, but on the path of life. But I would love to be able to preach this Gospel thoroughly to more individuals so that they too can follow Christ and walk the same path I am walking on. For before I was lost, now I am found. I was once dead, now I've been made alive. I was once blind, but now I see. Once deaf, now I hear. Sin no longer has it's bounds over me, nor do the words of other people. One thing is for certain, and that's that I may be in this world, but I am not of this world.
When we take a good look at all the atrocities going on in the world today, it looks like the whole world has turned into Sodom & Gomorrah. Where is God in all of this. The big question here is this: Have Gods people abandoned Him, or has God abandoned His people like He did with those Godless abominations living in Sodom & Gomorrah? Have we all forgotten the true meaning of Jonah and the whale, of course we have. God sent one man to Nineveh to tell the people to repent and return to their God, and they did. Why? Because that was Gods will. Against all odds, one man saved a city because God was with him on his journey. Sodom & Gomorrah on the other hand was so evil and an abomination in Gods eyes that He sent two angels to lead the only sane man out of there before He destroyed that evil place. Look at what evil of sodomy does to people, the men of Sodom wanted to gang rape the two angels. ( Geneses 19:1,5 ). Ask yourselves this, why did God choose to send one man to save a city, and send two angels to save one man from a city? We only live on this earth for a few years and look at what mankind has done to it. If all those man made worldly Churches and their false preachers had preached repentance like Jonah was sent to do instead of just opening their mouths and spewing out verbal diarrhea, maybe, just maybe, this world would be a different place, and we could all live the way God intended us to just like they did in Nineveh. Make no mistake, God will not be mocked. Everything God has said He would do, has either happened or will take place at the time of His choosing. None of today’s false preachers and prophets and so called men of God are able to do anything other than fill their own pockets from the misery of those who are seeking God. Instead of telling the people what they need to be told, these misfits are only keeping Gods people from repenting and returning Him. The truth the people need to hear is that they are all evil, every single one of them, and unless they are told the truth and shown how to repent and return to their God, then every last one of them is destined to spend eternity in the fires of hell. Satan has and still is using Churches, their Pastors, false prophets, governments etc. to alter Gods written word so much to suit the times, that God and his written word has become nothing more than a fairy tale. If this was not the truth then the world would be a totally different place than it is today. No, then just keep telling your selves that evil has not crept into your worldly Churches. This is exactly what Satan wants you to believe, and he has you paying to keep the evil alive. This is what is within your Churches, but your leaders won’t or can’t tell you because they don’t know how to help you or themselves out of this predicament. Well I hope this shocks you, it’s meant to. The lie does not shock you, so I pray the truth does. This is what Jesus came to save us from. Mark 7:20-23. What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man. If you refuse to believe this is who you are and your heart is evil, even when your Church leaders tell you that you have been saved, do you honestly believe that God would allow you into His kingdom? If you think you are safe, then Satan has already deceived you. Because Satan altered a few words he was able to deceive Eva and cause her to commit the first sin, then Eva convinced Adam to do the same, and it just continued from there. Next, Adam blamed God for causing him to commit sin because He gave him the woman…………. And so it continues to this day. Even today Satan has his workers everywhere doing the same thing, even within your Church. It only takes one of Satan’s worker to alter the truth slightly, then it will spread like wildfire and in the end the mosquito will have turned into an elephant. God wants you to discover and know the truth in your short life so that you can spend eternity in paradise with Him. Satan wants to keep you in the lie so that you can spend eternity with him in the fires of hell. If you choose to remain in Sodom & Gomorrah, then the fires of hell is your final destination. Gods un-altered word tells you how this will happen. If choose not to believe the truth, then you have already been deceived. Revelation 20:10-15. The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire. If you were sitting in the true Church of God then you would already know the truth, and because you knew the truth you would have been set free from Satan’s grip on your life. God did not send Jonah out to Nineveh to get rich, God sent Jonah out to Nineveh to turn Gods people back to him. How much are you paying your Church to get you into the kingdom of God. The Pastors and Evangelists who have been installed by The New Life Mission have been given the same task as God gave to Jonah. Go out into the world and preach the gospel of the water and the Spirit to mankind, have them repent, become born again of the water and the Spirit and return to their God. ( 2 Corinthians 5:20. ) We are the ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Repent and become truly born again of the water and the Spirit. John 3:3,5. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of the water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. Nicodemus was a teacher of Israel and he did not know these things, why? If he had been born again then he would have been able to see into Gods kingdom. Anyone who is not born again still has those 12 sins in his heart, and with his evil thoughts he will only be able to alter Gods word to suit his own circumstances. Those of you who are only here for a short time and don’t want to spend eternity in the fires of hell, then God is still giving you a way out. To those of you who are reading this, then it was Gods will that brought you here. Rev. Paul C. Jong is freely offering you a way to spend eternity with God. He has written 65 books on the proper way to become truly born again of the water and the Spirit. Each and every one of his books will only lead you to read Gods written word for yourself, the rest is between you and God. God only blesses the born again, have you been blessed? GOD CRIED LIKE A WOMAN IN LABOUR Our reading today from the Scripture is taken from Isaiah where God said:“I have held My PEACE a long time, I have been still restrained Myself, Now I will CRY like a WOMAN in LABOR, I will pant and gasp at once” (Isaiah 42:14). The Lord God Almighty speak about the SALVATION of human beings in various ways and diverse means, but with the same one.
Brethren, first of all, we must understand the fact that we do not interpret Scripture by ourselves, but Scripture is interpreted by Scripture. For example, If Rev Paul C. Jong just told us that Jesus took away all the sins of the world through His baptism without using the Old Testament laying on of hands to explain it, all of us would be living in confusion as to whether it is biblically true or not. And many Christians would have even oppose the gospel of the water and the Spirit more strongly than what we see now. However, the laying on of hands in the sacrificial system which Paul C. Jong used to explain the baptism of Jesus is the proof to silence all our critics. Therefore we see that Matthew 3:13-17 is interpreted by another Scripture which is Leviticus 16:20-22. So Scripture is interpreted by Scripture. And God will judge our critics (the false Christians) who stand against this gospel with hell fire as their reward. Secondly, unless we are able to know and differentiate between the sin leading to death and the sin which does not lead to death, confusion will set in. How did we become righteous? We became righteous by believing that Jesus came by the water (His baptism), the blood, and the Spirit, and He eliminated all our sins once and for all. Daniel the Prophet, tells us that Jesus came by this method in order to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy (Daniel 9:24). Therefore anyone who believes is saved from all his sins and he obtained the righteousness of God which is by faith in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:9). Hebrews 10:10 also tells us that we are sanctified once and for all. Therefore if someone who has become righteous through the gospel of the water and the Spirit reject this gospel, and he no longer believes, he will surely become a sinner again. This is because God gave every one the power of choice (volition). We must note that this person was previously a sinner and God made him righteous. But if he become a sinner again as a result of unbelief, he can never be sanctified again a second time. Else Jesus will have to be baptized and crucified repeatedly. This is the sin which leads to death. Thinking that such a person can become righteous again is to make a mockery of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. The Bible says that God cannot be mocked, and what a man sows he will reap (Galatians 6:7). The Bible clearly tells us that there is a sin leading to death and a sin not leading to death. In fact the Bible says that we should not even attempt to pray for those who commit the sin leading to death (1 John 5:16-17). If the Word of God tells us that there is no turning back for those who commit the sin leading to death, who are we to say that if only the person repents he can come back? Hebrews 6:4-6 says that it is impossible. So who are we to challenge the Word of God and say that it is possible? The Bible says emphatically that it is impossible. Let me quote the whole Scripture passage. It says, “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakes of the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame” That is why the Bible says that it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God (Hebrews 10:31). The words, “If they fall away” or falling away, refers to the sin that leads to death. The words “Since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God” means that they were righteous, but they became sinners again to make the work of Jesus useless, null and void. Jesus came to make us righteous so why should you be made a sinner again and still think that you can become righteous? It is a dangerous sin. Even if by an accident, a brother by any uncertain circumstance kills someone and he still believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, he is still our brother, and he will never lose his salvation due to the charges of murder. And I don’t even think that any Saint of God will eventually and intentionally kill someone. This is because the born again Saints have been called by God as His instruments to save souls. Any sin that a born again sin with his flesh is not a sin which leads to death. It is only the sin of rejecting God’s righteousness which leads to spiritual death. However when we speak this way, people whose thoughts are only canal say that if that is what we believe, then our gospel will make people commit more sins intentionally. During the time of the Apostles Paul, they were also accused likewise. But it is never true. That is why Paul said, “And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come? – as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just” (Romans 3:8). The Bible says that whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him. And he cannot sin because he has been born of God (1 John 3:9). We have to understand this passage very clearly. This passage means that those who are born of God cannot commit the sin of unbelief which leads to death. However if someone who once believed in the gospel commit this sin of unbelief, he will become a child of Satan once and for all. That is why the same book says, “He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested that he might destroy the works of the devil” (1 John 3:8). We must know that the sin which John was talking about here is already explained in chapter 5:16. If Jesus has destroyed the works of the devil which is sin, and someone builds it again because of his unbelief, then he will be cut off from God. Also we must be careful not to misinterpret the mercy of God to mean that even if someone who was truly born again rejects God’s righteousness and becomes a sinner and he repents, God will receive him back because He is merciful. Well if we think like that, then why not say that if Satan also repents God will have mercy on him and forgive him because He is merciful God? God is the God of mercy, but He is also the God of justice who passes His fierce judgement on those who stand against Him to commit the unpardonable sin. Satan was wrong in his thoughts and rebellion against God. God is righteous and He is always right in His existence. But Satan refused to be submissive and he received eternal judgement which can never be altered. That is why the Bible says that, “And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgement of the great day” (Jude 6). The Bible tells us that those of us who believed in God’s righteousness we were also raised together with Christ, and we have been seated together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:6). Therefore if any believer in the true gospel also don’t keep his faith in God’s righteousness, then it means that he has also left his abode, and he has failed to keep his proper domain, and he will therefore face judgement. That is why Jesus said, “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and he is withered, and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned” (Hebrews 15:6). We must not read the Word of God with fleshly thoughts. The words, “cut out” and “fire” which Jesus mentions here refers to being thrown into the hell fire. A branch of a tree which gets withered is good for nothing except to be thrown into the fire and get burned. Any branch in Jesus (a righteous person) who is withered (become sinner again) is good for nothing. Therefore God will cut him out and throw him into the fire for him to get burned. These are the words of the Almighty Savior Himself. These passages are not meant to instill fear in us, because God has not given us the Spirit of fear, but of power, of love, and of sound mind (1 Timothy 1:7), but they are meant to awake us to be serious, so that we don’t take our salvation for granted, nor allow the devil to deceive us to fall into the same manner of rebellion against the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Bible warns us to be very careful to guard our faith else we will drift away. The Word of God says, “Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the Living God” (Hebrews 3:12). The words “Evil heart of unbelief” is the sin which leads to death, and the Bible is saying that anyone who commits this sin will depart completely from the Living God, and he will never be able to come back to the Living God. Therefore we can see that Hebrews 3:12 interprets 1 John 5: 16-17 about the sin which leads to death. Scripture is interpreted by Scripture. The Word of God is warning us never to depart from the righteousness of Jesus Christ because there is no second chance. Any second chance will make Jesus to be baptized and crucified a second time. The Apostle Paul therefore admonish us saying, “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them, but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it” (Hebrews 4:1). This statement is the same as what Paul told us in Philippians 2:12 that we should work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. These words simply means we shouldn't joke or take our salvation lightly, neither should we toss God in any way that we want as if He is a ball. God will not tolerate any acts of unbelief. We must not take our salvation for granted. There was a faithful brother in Ghana, this brother walked with us and he was growing in the knowledge of the gospel of the water and the Spirit steadily. In fact he distributed a lot of Mission books to many people. But all of a sudden he started doubting the baptism of Jesus. He made strong argument with me that there is not where in the Scripture which proves that Jesus took away all our sins through His baptism. I took my time to explain to him more facts about Jesus baptism, but he challenged me and rejected it. Later he left us and he started speaking against Rev. Paul C. After this man left us, he went deeper into the world, and I even herd of him being involved in demonic and occult practices. Do you think if this person returns back and believes in the gospel again he can become righteous? It is totally impossible. It will never happen. He can never even come back. It is fatal for us to thing that a person rejects the gospel and becomes a sinner again still has a chance to become righteous. It has fatal consequences. That is why God said, “Now the just shall live by faith, but if anyone draws back, My soul has not pleasure in him” (Hebrews 10:38). Now God is saying here that if anyone draws back His soul has no pleasure in him, who are we to think that God will still have pleasure in a person who draws back from the gospel of His righteousness? Are we greater than God? That is why the Bible says, “Surely you have things turned around! Shall the potter be esteemed as the clay; For shall the thing made say of him who made it, “He did not make me”? Or shall the thing formed say of him who formed it, “He has no understanding”? (Isaiah 29:16). Also in Isaiah 45:9, the Word of God says, “Woe to him who strives with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth! Shall the clay say to him who forms, “What are you making?” Or shall your handiwork say, ‘He has not hands?’ (Isaiah 45:9). There is no such a word as “Repentance” for those who turn their back against God. God is the one who spoke His unchangeable Word, and He says that He has no pleasure in any Saint who draws back (becomes sinner again). That is why the Holy Spirit made the Apostle Peter write that, “For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,” and, “a sow, having washed to her wallowing in the mire” (2 Peter 2:20-22). In the above passage, the words “to escape from the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” refers to our being born again of the water and the Spirit. And the words, “If they are again entangled in them and overcome” refers to “falling away” which is explained in Hebrews, and which also means losing your faith in God’s righteousness. Here being entangled in in them is not what make a Saint a sinner, but rather the Apostle Peter used the words “and overcomed.” It means if a Saint allows the devil to overcome his faith with the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life (1 John 2:15-170), then that is the end of his spiritual journey of faith. The Bible tells us clearly that whoever believes that Jesus came by the water and the blood has overcomed the world (1 John 5:5-6). Therefore if a born again Saint is “overcomed” as mentioned by Peter, then it means he has lost his faith, and He has turn the Word of God into a lie. The principle of faith in the salvation of Jesus is that, if you lose your faith you lose your salvation. You don’t lose your salvation just because you committed some overt sins. However the Good News is that the Word of God tells us, “But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe in the saving of the soul” (Hebrews 10:39). Have you seen? Here it says that we are not of those who draw back to perdition. This means that if anyone draws back to perdition, he can never return again. There is no second chance for that person, and there is no repentance for him because he has already drawn back to perdition. The Bible says we are not of those who draw back to perdition, so we must not believe in our own thoughts and think that we can draw back to perdition and still come back to God. There is no turning-back for those who draw back to perdition. When the Bible says that, “For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again...” (Proverbs 24:16), the word “fall” in this passage, is not the same as “fall away” which the Apostle Paul spoke about in Hebrews 6:6. The word “fall” in proverbs refers to any sin that we commit due to the weakness of the flesh, but “fall away” in Hebrews is an unpardonable sin of unbelief which cannot be forgiven by God. That is why the Bible says, “For we have become partakers with Christ if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end” (Hebrews 3:14). These words are vivid and clear. It means that we can never become partakers with Christ if we do not hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast to the end. Let us pray together we the disciples, “Lord increase our faith” (Luke 17:5). GOD BLESS US ALL. Eric AboadwePrimitive Gospel Mission - Ghanaericaboadwe@hotmail.com
