The Elementary Priciples of CHRIST, Part 2.

In comparison, sacrificial offerings by earthly priests were repetitive; But Christ offered himself once as the perfect sacrifice for the atonement of our sins. This is why he was baptised in the flesh by John the Baptised to take the sins of the world upon his flesh to the cross and died, thus fulfilling all the righteousness of God once and for all; Hebrews 9:26, "For then must he often has suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself." He shouldered our sins with his baptism unto the cross, Matt.3:13-17; He was our Passover Lamb that paid the price for our redemption to God for the sake of his people, Hebrews 9:28. He did not enter the most Holy place with the blood of animals, but by his own blood, for eternal redemption, Hebrews 9:12, "Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption  for us." He fulfilled the role of the High priest who could enter the Most Holy each year of atonement with the blood of animals; but with his own blood. He entered the sanctuary of Heaven with his blood of sacrifice for all who believe, to save all who believe in his baptism and blood from their guilt and curses. We are eligible for Salvation when we believe Christ's voluntary obedience to God to fulfil all his works including accepting the baptism received from John, this is how he fulfil all the righteousness of God to give his baptism and blood to his people to receive the righteousness of God. This was the righteous plan of God.   Christ is not only the eternal High Priest; but also prays for us so that we can boldly approach throne of God for our needs in his name, Hebrews 4:6; 10:19. He teaches us how to pray; Luke 11:1-4; Matt. 6:9-13 and, guarantees the answer when we pray the Father in his name. He prays for us because he is the Interceder, who for our sakes pleads and defends us before God.   Christ interceded for us whilst he was on the earth; Luke 22:32; 23:34; John 17. He has continued in this ministry of intercession after ascending into the heavens and sited at the right hand of God the Father, Rom.8:34. Christ knows our weaknesses and needs and deals with them with compassion and mercies, Hebrews 4:15, "For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."   Just as the high priest of the old testament blessed the people in the name of Jehovah, He also ask for the heavenly blessings for his people. Numbers 6:22-27, he was a blessing to many whilst on the earth. On his ascenssion to heaven, he raised his hands and blessed his disciples, Luke 6:50-51. Even now he bleeses us, Eph.1:3. Christ is God himself, there is no other like unto him, he alone can be the sacrfice of atonement to keep his people and only he can fufil the Law perfectly, and only him is the interceder for mankind who is able to bring to us the heavenly blessings. Any person who does not believe in his priestly ministry cannot find another who is with God to plead his course, and such a person will not inherit the blessings of heaven, but will face eternal condemnation.   C. King:  Christ is the Eternal King of heaven and earth. his anointing is not like that of the earthly kings. He was anointed to reign with infinite power, justice and truth.   Christ Kindom is not of the world, John 18:36, but of righteousness, Joy, peace in the Holy Spirit, Romans 14:17. He rules with his word, Hebrews 4:12, " For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart.". He is not the King of the Jewish nation only; He is the head of the church, the congregation of his believers, Eph.4:15.   The church has been reddemed from the dominion of the Devil, and built with the blood of Christ and, led by the Holy Spirit and belongs to Christ forever. As the King he protects the church against all evil and will not allow any force or power to evercome his chrch. Even the gates of hell cannot prevail against his church, Matthew 16:18.   Christ rules over his church mercifully such that his people submits to his authority and obey his word. Those who do not recognize his sovereignty cannot escape from from his reign, because God the Father has enabled him to rule over the enitire Universe, Matthew 28:18; Even all the evil angels have been stripped of their authority, Colossians 2:15 and Christ rules over the kings of the earth, Revelation 1:5   Although Christ's Authority and Glory are ignored and insulted, even blasphemed on the earth, and hidden by his evil enemies (Psalm 89:51), his majesty is undeniable in the kingom of heaven as the King of Kings and the Lord of lords  (Revelation 19:16). When Christ returns in the cloud, he will honour those who believed in him and, shame those who rejected him (Matthew 25:31-46). Christ will reign in righteousness everywhere in heaven and on earth. (2 Peter 3:13; Revelation 21).   In the new Testament Christ was the prophet, the High Priest and King, and his teaching was with authority (Luke 4:32) as he told Pilate in John 18:37; and his miracles revealed his sovereign Authority according to his prophetic teachings and his miracles given to the people revealed his priestly mercy (Matthew 8:17).

The Elementary Principles of Christ Part 2

    A. Prophet: Jesus Christ fulfilled his prophetic Ministry as the greatest prophet who revealed the will of God and the implementation of the word of God to his people. All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Christ, and his word. His word is the perfect word of God that no prophet can ever change; Colossians 2:3, for he is the only begotten son of God (John 1:18). The message of Christ is perfected in his works of his Baptism, death on the Cross of the fulfilment of the righteousness of God for mankind for the remission of sins from the hearts from the hearts of men. His message and teaching emphasis that it is not possible to receive the Salvation of God without believing in the baptism of Jesus and his blood of the cross. Those who do not believe are already condemned, because of not believing in the name of the only begotten Son of God, so they remain in sins (John 3:18). these people cannot find the way out of condemnation because they will not believe the word and the sermon of that has the authority and power to lead the listener to obey His word.   B. High Priest: God the Father spoke to His Anointed, Christ in Psam 110:4; "The Lord hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.", not from the order of Aaron, but of His Father's will. The priest of the old Testament were pointers to the Christ, the everlasting and perfect High Priest, Hebrews 9:24; "For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:" There are three works manifested by Jesus Christ as the everlasting High Priest for the salvation of mankind: First he offered himself as a sacrifice for our sins for ever. He has redeemed mankind with his baptism and blood of the cross. He completed God's righteousness by obtaining eternal redemption for us. His sacrifice of Atonement was prohesied for thousands of years and known through the sacrificial rituals of the laying on of hands, the laying on of hands on the heads on the passover lamb and bloodshed.

The Elementary Priciples of CHRIST, Part 2.

The Devine Nature Of Jesus Christ:- Jesus is the Son of God, the second person of the Triune God. Simon Peter confessed him in Matt.16:16; the High Priests also knew him to be Christ, though they rejected him as Christ because of unbelieve; Matt.26:63-64. The angel who visited Mary also told her that the child in her womb was the Holy Son of God; Luke 1:35, His Father revealed him to the world in his baptism; Matthew 3:17; "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased."; Mark 1:11; Luke 3:22. These events were chosen by God, not only to reveal Jesus to the World; but also for Jesus to take upon his head the sins of the world and fulfil all the righteousness of God in his baptism; Matthew 3:15. The poofs that Jesus is God and, has the same particular power as the Father can be found in the following scriptures; John 5:26; Rom.8:32; Jn.1:1; Jn.1:14, 3:16 and Jn.5:18, where Jesus called God as his own Father.   The Human Nature Of Jesus Christ:   Jesus was born as a man; Philipians 2:7-8 and called " The man Christ Jesus", 1 Timoyhy 2:5 and, dwelt among us John 1:14, as a man he was baptised by John the Baptist. Though He was God incarnet to man he experienced everything we are and , yet he was without sins. He was a descendant of Adam. The following scriptures tell of his human nature and lineage; Luke 3:38; Luke 2:6-7; Matt.1:18-25; Gal.4:4 and Matthew 1:1. Although Jesus Christ was born without sins, however he was weakened by the sins of the world which he shouldered in the the baptism which he received from John the Baptist, and suffere; by which he fulfilled all the righteousness of God; John 19:30; he could not be differetiated from men; Isaiah 53:2-3. Although Jesus had the human nature he did not sin; He was in everyway tempted as we are yet without sin; Hebrews 4:15. He bore the sins of the world by John's baptism; For this he was crucified for the sake of sinners. As the everlasting High Priest fitting for us; It is written; Hebrews 7:26, "For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is Holy, harmless, undefield, seperate from from sinners.   Christ's Three Duties: In the old Testament only three kinds of people were anointed by oil, the prophets, the priests and the kings; 1 Kings 19:16; Exodus 40:13-15; 2 Kings 9:3. His roles dipicted in the following scriptures; Deuteronmy 18:15; Psalm 110:4; Zechariah 6:12-13. All his roles were fulfilled in his baptism to shoulder all the sins of the world, crucified and rose again from the dead.

The Elementary Principles of Christ Part 2

II. CONFESSION OF FAITH IN GOD THE SON   "I believe in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead."   Jesus Christ:   The name "Jesus" is the Greek translation derived from the Hebrew origin, (Jeh-ho-shoo'-ah), meaning "Jehovah is Salvation."   In Hebrew Christ is the old Testament's Messiah, whilst in Greek He is the anointed One. In the four gospels He is "The Christ", telling us that Jesus is the Absolute God Himself. God the Father sent him to deliver everyone living on this earth from sins. Strictly speaking, "Jeus" and "Christ" are noninterchangeable. "Jesus" means the interceder or peace maker between God and the mankind. "Christ" means the "anointed One" in line with the ancient Middle East custom to anoint someone entrusted with a high office. For the Jews, God commanded the people to anoint prophets, priest and kings to show that the people were approved of God to minister in the specific calling (1 Kings 19:16, Psalm 133:2). This customs were only specific for certain periods when such people were alive even though their ability to fulfil this duties were imperfect, this fact meant that the people had to wait for the perfect one anointed by God to come. Hence Jesus was born to fulfil all the righteousness of God, (Matt.3:15-17, Mark 1:10-11 and Lk.3:21-22). Jesus testified on this in, Luke 4:18; "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and the recovering of sight to the blind, to se at liberty them that are bruised,", also in Isa.61:1. Jesus Christ is the anointed of God, the saviour of mankind, redeemer and intercessor and has power and authority to which is manifested in his fulfilmenbt of all the righteousness of God.   Christ's Attributes:-   Christ was before the Creation, Ephesians 1:4, "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be without blame before him in love:", also in Ephesians 1:10, "That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on the earth; even in him:" To fulfil his promise God sent Jesus Christ as one of the decendant of Abraham, and that he would anointed so that all nations would be blessed because of him, Gen.22:17-19, we also note from the prophesy of Jacob that he would come as a descendant of Judah, Gen.49:10. Isaiah also prophesied that he would take the sins of the world and to be rejected to die and be buried, Isaiah 53.     The Devine Nature Of Jesus Christ:-   Christ is the Eternal God incarnated in the flesh of Man, and he is for ever God Himself, Jn.1:1,14 and Rom.9:5. The confession God's church about the devine nature of Christ is not by the wisdom of man; but by God himself, Matt.16:17. All the truths of the bible tells us without confusion, the devine nature of Christ according to the following scriptures:-   Micah 5:2; Isaiah 9:6; Matthew 16:16; Mark 8:29; Luke 9:20; Philipians 2:6; 1 John5:20; Matthew 26:63-64; Mark 15:2; John 10:30; John 8:58 and John 17:5. We can say that all those who received healing from the Lord or for healing them of incurable diseases and his teaching to his disciples to believe his were dependentor the result of their recognising his divinity.

The Elementary Priciples of CHRIST, Chapter 1

We Must Recognize God As The One Who Has Saved Us From The Sins Of The World:-   Mankind and religions change; but God's love is the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow. But the love of mankind is carnal because is governed by emotions, it is constantly changing, so is selfish and sefl-centred.   God's love is true, sacrificial and is eternal, hence the bible tells us ; Roman 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."; John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."; and  1 John 4:10, tells us, "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his son to be the proptiation for our sins." We must believe in God to be Saved from our sins and, receive eternal life by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit.   God Hears Our Prayers   Paternity, the flesh and blood relationship betwen father and children which enable them to live in the same house, can be equated to the faith that believes in the baptism of Jesus and his blood through the  gospel of the water and the Spirit that makes us the children of God. Hence we are able to live on this earth in the church of God as his Saints until we join God in the Kingdom of Heaven when we leave this earth. We are blessed that God is our Father because of our faith that believes in the gospel of the water and the Spirit as stated in Romans 8:15, "For ye have not received the Spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father." The truth is that it is the faith in the gospel of water and the Spirit that forgives everyone from their sins. The Holy Spirit will not fall on those who do not believe in the gospel of water and the Spirit, because their sins are not forgiven and, cannot become the childrenof God. If they believe, they have faith in the Lord, and can receive whatever they ask the Father in the name of Jesus, John 16:23; "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, Verily, I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you."   God is not reproachful of us however often we approach him with our needs; James 1:5.   WE must Believe In God As The One Who Will Give Us Our Inheritance:-   We become the adopted sons and daughters of God when we believe the gospel of the water and the Spirit given by the Lord, Romans 8:15. Since we are adopted sons and daughters, we have inheritance with Jesus Christ and, also joint heirs with Jesus; Romans 8:17-18, we are God's Inheritors; Galatians 4:7.   Since we have benn remitted from all our sins and are heirs of God we shall inherieverything from the God of christianity and to enter into the kingdom of Heaven. We cannot do this by ourselves without faith that believes in the baptism of Jesus and the blood of the only begotten son of God, John 6:39, "And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."   The Apostles' Creed shows and teaches us how they believed in God. It teaches us that in confessing our belief in God, we should begin thus, " I believe in God the Father Almighty."   The reason for this style of confession is because we must have the faith that God requires from us. This kind of faith makes it impossible for us to conclude that God depended on man's ability to think and experiment. When we have the kind of faith that God requires we conclude by his word that He  is the absolute Creator. This is because, if we cannot prove issue by ourselves, we have to accept the Authoritative word of God. The word of God is the Authoritative truth, and the apostles and prophets were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the word of God in the Bible. Jesus is the son of God who heals all our sickness and diseases, and he is the saviour of the world. The prophets were inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the account of the creation of the Universe even to his Salvation through His Son, Jesus. And we need to believe the writings of the prophets and the apostles to come the knowledge of the truth and meet the God of Truth.   Christianity is believing in Jesus through the gospel of the water and the Spirit that saves from sins. It is Jesus who gave us this gospel, and we christians accept it as ours by believing in his word. We must believe his word because we were all born in sins and, only Jesus is able to save us from all our sins. We can only be saved from our sins by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit. God gave the mankind this Truth.
