It examines who Jesus is—He who called Himself the bread of life, the light of the world, the door of the sheep, and the good shepherd—and how He gives eternal life to sinners. The author, pastor Paul C. Jong, unfolds these words from the perspective of the gospel of the water and the Spirit, and preaches that Jesus removed all the sin of mankind and completed our salvation through the baptism He received from John the Baptist, His blood on the Cross, and His resurrection. The purpose of this book is not to leave its readers merely accumulating biblical knowledge, but to lead them to believe in their hearts that the salvation Jesus accomplished is their own salvation.
