This book testifies to how the Word of Leviticus chapters 24 through 27 is connected to the salvation that Jesus accomplished, as promised in the Old Testament, through the baptism He received from John and the blood of the Cross.
The author, Pastor Paul C. Jong, has preached the gospel of the water and the Spirit from the whole of Scripture—the gospel that Jesus completed through the baptism He received from John, His death on the Cross, and His resurrection. This book does not view the various statutes of Leviticus merely as Old Testament institutions, but expounds them from the perspective of the salvation that Jesus Christ has accomplished and of the faith and life of the saints who have received that salvation.
