THE EFFECT THAT JESUS HAS LAID ON SINNERS THROUGH HIS MINISTRY OF BAPTISM, DEATH AND RESURRECTION
Hello Everyone, I hope for the Peace and Grace of my LORD Jesus Christ will also be upon you just as it has been given to us all the believers of the baptism, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Amen! Dear readers, am hereby, sharing this blessed book review titled THE EFFECT THAT JESUS HAS LAID ON SINNERS, THROUGH HIS MINISTRY OF BAPTISM, DEATH AND RESURRECTION Hallelujah!!! I have written this review after having read our newly released Ebook "ALREADY COMPLETED SALVATION" by Rev. Paul C. Jong.
I sincerely offer my deepest gratitude to God, that through reading this precious book written by His Servant Rev. Jong and His Church The New Life Mission, my faith today is affirmed evermore. I am completely certain that heaven is for anyone who accept the true word of God as it is and comes to God through the faith comprising the ministry of only begotten Son Jesus Christ—even His baptism from John the Baptist where He took upon Himself all the sins of mankind from the first man Adam until to the last person to be born on this earth, His death on the Cross where He paid for all the penalty of all our sins He received on His baptism, and thus resurrected from the dead to completely justify us all mankind as sinless beings once for all.
Because sin is a problem that fundamentally separates human beings from God, it is essential to learn and understand that it can never be resolved by us humans on our own. The Lord has perfectly completed salvation for us all mankind, so that we do not need to make even a single effort to believe, to offer good deeds of fasting, or tirelessly repeat repentance prayers. For Jesus has already completed all the work. Unless one accepts this truth, he definitely thinks that Jesus’s work is not sufficient; hence, begins to toil for himself or herself to be washed from sin.
The problem is that when one fails to accept the truth as it is—that Jesus Christ has already completed the work of salvation by the baptism He received from John, His death on the Cross, and His resurrection—it is impossible that one would not try to add his own toil. It is like failing to accept one`s own gender. A male trying to become a female or vice versa results in additional toils due to failure to accept the fact of how they are born. Before God, nothing is changed; you remain as you were created. This is what the true Gospel of the water and the Spirit holds: the fact that Jesus already completed salvation remains unchanged whether one accepts it or not.
What happens when one fails to accept it correctly? He tries to toil, thinking, "I know Jesus is my Savior, but I also have some part that I need to do." They offer prayers of repentance or fast for days to remain holy. Such life is what many people dwell upon, thinking salvation is divided into halves—one for the Lord and one for themselves. But this is foolish. The washing away of sins depends only on the work Jesus performed. As Hebrews 10:5-8 says, God did not want sacrifices and offerings, but prepared a body (Jesus) to do His will.
Jesus Christ is the reality of everything written in the Law. Just as the high priest Aaron laid hands on a sacrificial animal to transfer the sins of Israel (Leviticus 16:21), God sent John the Baptist, a descendant of Aaron, as our representative. When John baptized Jesus, all the sins of humanity were passed onto Jesus’s righteous body (Matthew 3:15). Because He took all our sins, it was possible for Him to face death on the Cross and cry, "It is finished." Through His baptism and death, He completed forgiveness, and through His resurrection, He proved He is God.
Today, Rev. Paul C. Jong is reminding us of how perfect this Gospel of the water, blood, and Spirit is. Through the Law, we confirm our sinful nature (Romans 3:20), but the more our unrighteousness is exposed, the more we learn about the only Savior. By accepting this truth, one attains the righteousness of God, and the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in the heart freely. As Apostle Paul said in Romans, even if some do not believe, it does not make the faithfulness of God without effect.
Therefore, man must forget the notion of reaching God through their own toil of "I believe" combined with repeated repentance for future sins. What is completed cannot be redone or updated. The ministry of the baptism, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ has brought a reality where everyone who accepts it remains sinless and becomes a righteous child of God. Glory be to God.
