The four Gospels record the ministry of Jesus, who came into this world, called His disciples, preached the gospel of the kingdom of heaven with them, and saved sinners.

Matthew chapters 1–4 testify that He is the promised King and Savior, through the genealogy and birth of Jesus, the ministry of John the Baptist, the baptism and temptation of Jesus, and the proclamation of the gospel of the kingdom of heaven and the calling of the disciples.

At the center of these accounts is the baptism of Jesus recorded in Matthew 3:13–17. Through this baptism, all the sins of the world were passed on to Jesus, the Holy Spirit came down upon Him, and God the Father testified that He was His beloved Son. Jesus received on the Cross the judgment for the sins He had borne and rose again to complete salvation.

Believe in this gospel of the water and the Spirit with your heart, receive the remission of all sins, and discover the joy and freedom that the children of God enjoy.
