Numéro 55The difference between a spirit of divination and a Spirit of discernment
Acts 16:16-17. We can see a woman prophesying accurately, saying: Paul and Silas were servants of God! and their message accurately proclaimed the way of salvation. Acts explains that this woman had a spirit of divination and did not prophecy by the Holy Spirit. What we should be concerned about is the fact that everything she said was correct, but Paul wisely recognized she was a false prophet. There are way too many people out there being ruled by this same spirit of divination, but thank God there are also some of us who have the Spirit of discernment like Paul, and are able to recognize them for who and what they are, false prophets. Verses 18-24. Tells us what happens to those with the Spirit of discernment when they reveal the falsies for what they are. When you take away their source of income or fame they turn nasty. They will do everything to ridicule you, discredit you, lie about you, and silence you. Sound familiar? Verses 25-33. But what the falsies don’t understand is that God is with those He has chosen, God is the one who has given His Spirit of discernment to the chosen so they can reveal those with a spirit of divination. Only those with the Spirit of discernment will survive to proclaim the only true way of salvation. In today’s world on the internet it is so easy to spot and reveal all the falsies like the woman at the beginning of the message. What they say and write may be correct but what they say and write is only copied and pasted from another who has the truth in them. But the real danger comes when they start to add a few bits and pieces, alter a few words and try to make it sound like their story comes from them, but you can compare this form of truth twisting with what Satan did to Eva. Satan used the truth from what God said and turned a few words around to make it sound the same, but look at the disastrous damage it caused. The truth vanished and sin entered. This is what is happening on the internet today, way too many preachers, prophets, and Churches are all falsely proclaiming the way of salvation. A true prophet from God will do what Paul and Silas did, continue to preach the true word of God no matter what the consequences might be. Any deviation from the gospel of the water and the Spirit however small, will eventually cause it harm. Deviation, word twisting, making something sound more attractive to the ear, are all playgrounds for Satan. Be careful what you say and write. God is watching over His own, so is Satan. We are taking our FINAL Scripture reading from Ecclesiastes 9:11 which says: “The race is not for the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favour to men of skill; But TIME AND CHANCE HAPPEN TO THEM ALL.” Because the Bible is a BOOK of SALVATION, we will misconstrue its teachings if we read and study it according to the words per se. However if we always read and study it within the spiritual and eternal purpose of God in the blueprint of the REDEMPTION of mankind, then we will be able to enter deep inside the “Word” of God where the “THOUGHTS” of the Creator is made manifest to us. Therefore when our Scripture reading in Ecclesiastes says that “TIME AND CHANCE HAPPEN TO THEM ALL,” then it obviously mean that God has given the “CHANCE” or the opportunity for “ALL” human beings to be SAVED from SIN. That’s why the Scripture says that when God sent John the Baptist to testify that JESUS is “The LAMB of God who takes away the SINS of the world” (John 1::29), God gave him this testimony so that “ALL through him might BELIEVE” (John 1:7). It shows that God did this so that “ALL” men will be redeemed. For this reason, the Apostle Paul tells us that God actually “desires ALL men to be SAVED and to come to the knowledge of the TRUTH” (2 Timothy 2:4). And if “ALL” men can be SAVED, then God must allow “TIME AND CHANCE HAPPEN TO THEM ALL,” and He did it accordingly by given “TIME” and the “CHANCE” for “ALL” the descendants of Adam to be saved, purified, justified, and to be glorified by hearing the GOSPEL of redemption. Is there anybody who is NOT given the same “TIME and CHANCE” to be SAVED? There is nobody! This is because the Scripture says, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are CLEARLY SEEN, being understood by the things that are made, even His ETERNAL POWER and Godhead, so that they are without EXCUSE” (Romans 1:20). The passage above is telling us that because God gave the same “TIME and CHANCE” for “ALL” posterity to receive His gift of the “REMISSION OF SINS” through the water and the blood of CHRIST, there is nobody who can stand before Him on the Day of Judgment to give any “EXCUSE.” This is because He gave the “TIME” and the “CHANCE” for everybody to be brought into His abode in CHRIST JESUS. That’s why the Apostle Peter also tells us that, “The LORD is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is LONG-SUFFERING toward us, not willing that ANY should perish but that ALL should come to repentance” (2 Peter 3:9). This is the reason why the Almighty God has given “TIME AND CHANCE HAPPEN TO THEM ALL” according to our Scripture reading in Ecclesiastes which was written by Solomon the King whom God endowed with mysterious “WISDOM.” We must therefore understand that when JESUS says “That you may be sons of your Father in Heaven; for He MAKES His sun rise on the EVIL and on the GOOD, and sends rain on the JUST and on the UNJUST” (Matthew 5:45), it is because He has given the “TIME and CHANCE” for all human beings to receive His BLESSINGS whether they are “good” or bad, whether they are “swift” or not, whether they are “strong” or not, whether they are “wise” or not, whether they are men of “understanding” or not, and whether they are men of “skill” or not. So whether a person is physically “WISE” or “FOOL,” God planned His salvation in CHRIST in such a way that “TIME and CHANCE” will actually “HAPPEN TO THEM ALL” so that nobody is excluded from it. That’s why God said in Isaiah that JESUS will become “The Highway of HOLINESS,” and He also added that “Whoever walks the road, although a FOOL, shall not go ASTRAY” (Isaiah 35:8). Brothers and Sisters, this shows the fairness and justice of God to “ALL” human beings. That’s why after the writer of Ecclesiastes spoke about different categories of people, he did not miss the most important words when he said that “TIME AND CHANCE HAPPEN TO THEM ALL.” This is the reason why after Paul also told us in Romans Chapter 1 that everybody is “without EXCUSE,” he went further to explain in Romans Chapter 2 that “there is no PARTIALITY with God” (Romans 2:11). So let us give thanks and praise to God who has allowed “TIME AND CHANCE” to “HAPPEN” to “ALL” mankind within His redemptive plan. This ENDS our entire study on Ecclesiastes 9:11. Through this Scripture verse alone, God has taught us: (1) THE RACE IS NOT FOR THE SWIFT (2) THE BATTLE IS NOT TO THE STRONG (Part 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5) (3) DO YOU WANT TO BE RICH? (Part 1, 2, 3 & 4) (4) THE DANGERS OF MATERIAL RICHES (Part 1, 2 & 3) and (5) TIME AND CHANCE HAPPENS TO ALL In fact The LORD has given us a lot, and may His “GOOD” name be glorified forever and ever! WHY DID GOD REQUIRED ANIMAL SACRIFICE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT?
God required animal sacrifices to provide a temporary covering of sins and to foreshadow the perfect and complete sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Leviticus 4:35,5:10). Animal sacrifice is an important theme found throughout Scripture because “without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22). When Adam and Eve sinned, animals were killed by God to provide clothing for them (Genesis 3:21). Cain and Abel brought sacrifices to the Lord. Cain's was unacceptable because he brought fruit, while Abel's was acceptable because it was the “firstborn of his flock” (Genesis 4:4-5). After the flood receded, Noah sacrificed animals to God (Genesis 8:20-21). God commanded the nation of Israel to perform numerous sacrifices according to certain procedures prescribed by God. First, the animal had to be spotless. Second, the person offering the sacrifice had to identify with the animal. Third, the person offering the animal had to inflict death upon it. When done in faith, this sacrifice provided a temporary covering of sins. Another sacrifice called for on the Day of Atonement, described in Leviticus 16, demonstrates forgiveness and the removal of sin. The high priest was to take two male goats for a sin offering. One of the goats was sacrificed as a sin offering for the people of Israel (Leviticus 16:15), while the other goat was released into the wilderness (Leviticus 16:20-22). The sin offering provided forgiveness, while the other goat provided the removal of sin.Why, then, do we no longer offer animal sacrifices today? Animal sacrifices have ended because Jesus Christ was the ultimate and perfect sacrifice. John the Baptist recognized this when he saw Jesus coming after he was baptized and said, “Look, the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). Jesus the lamb of God came to John to be baptized to fulfill the righteous of God Matthew 3:13-15. You may be asking yourself, why animals? What did they do wrong? That is the point—since the animals did no wrong, they died in place of the one performing the sacrifice. Jesus Christ also did no wrong but willingly gave Himself to die for the sins of mankind (1 Timothy 2:6). Jesus Christ took our sin upon Himself and died in our place 1John 3:5. As 2 Corinthians 5:21 says, “God made him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” Through faith in what Jesus Christ accomplished on the cross, we can receive forgiveness.In summation, animal sacrifices were commanded by God so that the individual could experience forgiveness of sin. The animal served as a substitute—that is, the animal died in place of the sinner, but only temporarily, which is why the sacrifices needed to be offered over and over. Animal sacrifices have stopped with Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrificial substitute once for all time (Hebrews 7:27) and is now the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). Animal sacrifices foreshadowed Christ’s sacrifice on our behalf. The only basis on which an animal sacrifice could provide forgiveness of sins is Christ who would sacrifice Himself for our sins, providing the forgiveness that animal sacrifices could only illustrate. Blood is life given tissue in both animal and human without which we died. By animal sacrifice, we were temporaly receiving life. Jesus died so that his blood must give us a permanent life. There is life in the blood. Leviticus 17:11. Now, the blood that gives life is in his word. So as we hear His word regularly we are receiving the life of our lord Jesus Christ. Read Hebrews 4:12-13, You will really appreciate the efficacy of the word of God and what he does with our soul and spirit. As one hears the word of God, the word first searchs the soul and the spirit and block the flow of Adamic sin which caused the soul and the spirit to be corrupted and takes away the flesh and replace it with the law of the spirit eternally. Those who work hard to bring evidence too shall also be disappointed because God will not judge by what he sees. The only evidence too God will be looking for is whether or not you believe in the only begotten son of God John 3:16-18

Genesis 27:26-29. Then his father Isaac said to him, come near now and kiss me my son. And he came near and kissed him; and he smelled the smell of his clothing, and blessed him and said: Surely, the smell of my son is like the smell of a field which the Lord has blessed. Therefore may God give you Of the dew of heaven, Of the fatness of the earth, and plenty of grain and wine. Let peoples serve you, and nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, and let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, and blessed be those who bless you! What a wonderful blessing Jacob has just received from his father Isaac. But take a look at how Jacob’s brother Esau reacted when he found out he had been tricked out of his inheritance. Genesis 27:34-36. When Esau heard the words of his father, he cried with an exceedingly great and bitter cry, and said to his father, Bless me-me also, O my father! But he said, Your brother came with deceit and has taken away your blessing. And Esau said, Is he not rightly named Jacob? For he has supplanted me these two times. He took away my birthright, and now look, he has taken away my blessing! Genesis 27:41. So Esau hated Jacob because of the blessing with which his father blessed him, and Esau said in his heart, The days of mourning for my father are at hand; then I will kill my brother Jacob. There is a similar story earlier in the book of Genesis where Cain kills his brother Able because of jealousy. God accepted the offer Able made to Him, but rejected that of his brother Cain. Able tended the flocks and Cain worked the land. Able offered a burnt offering whereas Cain made an offer from his hard work. It is clear for all to see, unless you come to God with the right offering, He will either bless you or curse you. Jacob was also a man of the flocks while his brother Esau was a man of the field. Same circumstances, same form of worship as Cain and Able. But look at the disastrous outcome. We know that Esau was the first born, but God had already chosen to bless Jacob. The gist of this message is to prove a point. How many Christians in the world today are and have been trying to receive God’s blessings, by thinking they could trick Him into believing they were someone who they were not. Isaac was almost blind and deaf so he had to rely on his sense of smell and touch. Jacob’s mother placed the skin of a goat on the arm of Jacob so that his father’s touch would make him believe that it was Esau. The same with the clothing his mother gave him to wear, it belonged to Esau and smelled of the field, thus deceiving Isaac once again. It was easy enough to trick a blind and a deaf man into releasing his blessing, but do you honestly believe that you can try to trick and deceive God into blessing you when you hide behind your disguise of the wrong faith? This is nothing more than trying to enter the sheep fold via the back door. If you try to enter the fold in this manner, the same will happen to you as did Able, you will be killed. God himself will destroy you. The same thing will happen to you as Esau threatened to do to his brother Jacob. Jealousy is an evil sickness which causes people to lie, cheat, hate, manipulate, deceive, steal and even murder one an another, and all for the sake of trying to receive something which is not rightfully theirs in the first place. God’s blessings are for free. There is only one way to receive God’s blessing, and that is by entering His fold by the front door.Jesus is the door to the fold and you have to enter through Him. There is no other way. Only the true faith is acceptable to God. The Gospel of the water and the Spirit is the only gospel which will allow you entrance into the kingdom of God. Any other form of worship or offering will only lead to your destruction. To learn more about the Gospel of the water and the Spirit, you can order the free Books written by Rev. Paul C. Jong on this very subject. Don’t mock it until you have tried it. These books make the difference between receiving God’s blessings or God’s curses. Just think about Cain and Able or Jacob and Esau. The choice between life and death is yours. John 8:32. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. God has already blessed you, drop your disguise and receive it.
