The Baptism of Jesus and the Atonement of Sins (Matthew 3:13-17)

Without understanding and believing in the truth as to why Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, you will never be able to be washed clean from all of your sins and your conscience will remain guilty before the Holy God.
The baptism of Jesus is the mystery of salvation that is not preached in mainstream Christianity, but it is certainly revealed to the hearts of those who confess that they are destined for hell and seek Gods mercy by faith. (Romans 6:23)
Jesus was baptized by the High Priest John the Baptist to bear upon His body, the sin of the world in accordance to the `laying on of hands` performed in the Old Testaments sacrificial system (Leviticus 16:21)
Having shouldered our sins at His baptism, He shed His blood on the cross to make atonement for our sins and rose from the dead the third day. (1John 5:6-8)
Anyone who believes in Jesus as the true God who was baptized and crucified to complete salvation, can be reconciled back to God, become truly born again of water and the Spirit and enter the Kingdom of Heaven (John 3:5)
